Good morning all, hope that you have had a wonderful week! Thank goodness
we have gotten some much needed rain!
I would like to start right off telling you how wonderful David & Pat are! They
did a wonderful job taking up my carpet! They took all the furniture out and David
removed all the carpet. Cut it in strips and put it in bags. He is so neat and
careful and worked his butt off. He then put all the stuff back the way I like it. #1 they
put the TV so I can see it! I can never thank them enough for all their hard work!
David stacked all the bags of carpet outside the porch, #2 Todd came over to help me
on Tuesday, don't know how he did it but he got all that carpet in two containers and
they took it! That is a big deal to me, because when Nancy took her carpet up, it set
out there for six weeks! So I have to say again I have some wonderful people that
do a great job!!! I can never thank them enough. You may wonder what was under the
carpet....cement..........the carpet had been down for forty years. Hopefully if the
good Lord is willing I will put down hardwood floors the first of the year.
Want to wish a very special birthday wish to Eloise on the 17th and my beautiful grand
daughter Stacey on the 18th. Very special day for both of them. If I missed your
birthday I am sorry, my program that reminds me of birthdays is so small I can't see it.
Hopefully I will get that fixed soon.
Want to send special prayers for sister Helen. My Dad always said if you feel yourself
falling just go limp, you have a better chance of not getting hurt. Don't think he listen
himself either the couple time that he fell. Anyway she walk on he wet floor and
slipped and fell, she hurt herself trying to catch herself. She broke her humorous that's
the head up by right arm in the shoulder, Scheduled for surgery on Monday…
joint replacement. Two days in the hospital after the surgery.
Still taking about Helen, I am sure most of you know that she is really into
Ancestry and has done a lot of research on it. From time to time she sends
me things that she has discovered. Most of the time it doesn't make since
to me but this time she sent me a relative that lived in Ma way back when
that was instrumental in the underground railroad. It made me proud that
we were related to someone that really did something and that relative was in
my Grandmother Nina Adams family.
I was so hoping that my friend would call me. I want to get wood chips down
around the house and he has a truck. He called me from work on Wed and
left a number but it turned out to be a wrong number. Oh, well just have
to keep hoping.
Anyone have some suggestions on TV programs. All of mine have gone off the air
for the summer or have been discontinued. I am terrible when it comes to TV.
I like to record it so when I watch it I can fast forward thru the commercials.
So if you have any suggestions let me know, not that you will....but I can hope.
Have a great week!
Remember no one loves you like you do! So take really good care of you!
Please stay healthy! Have a great week!
Lots of Love
