Good morning all, hope you have had a great week! and a wonderful Thanksgiving. I would say I hope you didn't eat too much, but would be unthinkable. :)
Not to much to say this week, it has been a slow week. No one sent much of anything to add to this letter. Got promises but nothing. (Elaine)
Gloria and Don spent thanksgiving with Kimberly & Nate's (near Philadelphia). Nate's parents were there. Then on Friday we will have Justus' 1st birthday and Bethany's (who lives in NYC) 30th birthday celebrations. Times together are so special! Here is their Grandson on his first birthday
waking up and sweet potato with rice chex on top....cake of sorts....he isn't happy having to wait to eat his treat so Mom could take a picture. He is very allergic to wheat thus the sweet potato "cake". (thanks Gloria)
Also got some pictures of Joyce and Jeff new hall way...
I know it is just me, but had a hard time coping these pictures. What a beautiful job!
Please take great care of yourself and remember no one loves you like you do. I think it really looks nice . It is an old house but they love it. Their contractors were women and they did a great job!
I a made homemade bread as usual and I got to say it really came out good (12 double loafs) Granddaughter Stacey made the cinnamon rolls and she did a great job! Took a load off of me and I am very thankful for it.
David did a wonderful job on the turkey. It was 25 lbs, we got some for left overs and the rest walked.
I am not making pies anymore and Stacey's husband Paul parents brought two of the biggest pies I have ever seen. They were great!
When I am thru with this I am off to take Cocoa to the Vet to check her blood sugar. Hopefully it will be ok, she is doing well other wise.
Bill burned all the mop boards in the fireplace on Thanksgiving and I have had a runny nose ever since. You just can't convince him there are things you shouldn't put in the fire place.
Did any of you go Black Friday shopping? Diana use to be into to that, but I don't think she went this year.
Eric & his wife are coming in Jan. to visit Uncle Omar and Aunt Joyce. I know they will be very please to see him.
I have committed to one more year on the County Planning & Zoning board and then that is it for me. It is almost a lost cause because almost all of the people are in business of some sort so very seldom do the vote against a business. But one more year I will definitely retire.
Well I guess that is it for this week, come on folks help me out send me your pictures and tell who, where they are. It certainly would help me.
Please remember no one loves you like you do! Be good to yourself and have a wonderful week!
Lots of Love
a (aa) g~
