"There are some things which cannot be learned quickly, and time, which is all we have, must be paid. Heavily. For their acquiring. They, Are the very simplest things and, because it takes a man's life to know them, the little new that each man gets from life is very costly and the only heritage he has to leave. "Ernest Hemingway

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week. Mine has been fairly busy when I let it be :)

Worked last Saturday on the MAVEN launch...here is a picture
looked beautiful on the pad the night before. It will take sometime but it should be sending all kinds of info back on MARS. Worked the day of the launch, it was just not the same. Don't get me wrong there were a lot of media out there but the mood was not there.

Let the dog out on Monday evening and when I let her back in I could close the door. So forced it closed and got the flashlight and there was a coral snake. Not too happy about that, but thankfully Bill took care of it.

Want to wish sweet Ann Swan a very happy birthday on the 27th.  The best of birthday's to you!

On Tuesday I went for blood work. I really hate that because I am very difficult for most of them. The nurse tried four times before she gave up and sent me next door to the lab. This nurse was great, she got it the first time!

I would like you all to help me with this each week. Elaine you have promised to send me pictures of your family. I am sure everyone would enjoy seeing them. Please make sure you mention their names, and where they live. Next week I will asked someone else.

While I am on the Adams family did you know that Uncle Omar birthday was Thursday and he is now 89. Not to late to send him a card...Elaine what is the address? Remember he is the last of 9.

I told you all about Nancy winning the Halloween contest I finally got the picture...the one with the guitar is Nancy...
no wonder she won, don't look like my beautiful daughter to me. :)

Got this great picture of brother-in-law Jeff with Annie

I bet you know who won that discussion. :)

As you may or may not know daughter Diana got another puppy....Her name is Autumn....but I just call her spring :) Here she is with Rusty and Jake

beautiful dogs, but I still think you could make a blanket with their hair.

Now here is a beauty Eva with her dog...Rus

What beautiful eyes she has...can't see Russ's eyes.

On Thursday evening I met my old group of NASA friends for dinner. As always it was great to see them all. We have got to find a place to meet that has a large round table so we can all talk to each other...one long table doesn't do it.

On the way home thru the wilderness on NASA Space Center several light came on in the dash of my car. I just knew I would be stuck out there but the good Lord got me home. More good news when I took it into the shop yesterday morning I had more good news it was all covered under my warrantee!

We have started collecting for Angels at Baxley. It seems to be going smoothly but we won't know until all of the angels are chosen.

Well I guess that is it for this week, just remember no one loves you like you do. Have a great week!
