Happiness is a butterfly which, when pursued, is always just beyond your reach; but which, if you will sit down quietly, it may light upon you. Nathaniel Hawthorne, American novelist, 1804-1864

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week. Got to say I had all kinds of plans to work in the yard but with one thing or another I didn't get out there. :) The weeds are growing great I just wish they were as pretty as my flowers that are buried in them. But do hope to get out there this morning.

I know the weather has been cooling off up north, it is cooler here...80's but this week it has been very unusual for Florida...it has looked like it was going to rain just about all week and if it did, we didn't get much of it except for Monday....(I only tell you this to let you know there people who do stupid things like me and maybe get a smile, although I wasn't smiling) I had gone to my meeting in Vera and stopped at Publix to get a few things. Went in and got what I needed when I realized I had not brought my money with me. By that time we were having torrential rain. It wasn't bad enough that I had to go to the car in it once, but go back in the store and back to the car in it. Then the windows on the car steamed up when I turned of the air (I was cold) so I froze all the way home. I was wet right to the skin! Couldn't wear my shoes for two days because they were so wet! That is about the most exciting thing I did all week. :)

Got a nice notes from Sue & Gloria on what they serve for meals and I thank them for it. But when I say Bill doesn't eat much I mean give him a hamburger and maybe he will eat half of it. Same with a pork chop what ever....I don't seem to have that problem :) but it is still hard to fix a meal for him. I do try to fix a meal that will last for two meals, sometimes that works. But he is from the south, it is hard with fried chicken, you cook two pieces and ( I try not to eat fried chicken) and one get thrown away before he can eat it....Oh well enough of that. Thanks for the suggestions. I do love my George Forman.

My old friend Kari reminded me when I first met her, her daughter was three years old...this year she graduates from high school...gosh the time flies.

Also got a call from David Todd this week about my aneurysm on my stomach. Remember I told you that if you are over 50 you should have it checked....thinking it was only my side of the family. Well the bad news is, he has one also and if it is inherited, everyone should be checked!

Can you believe it according to my records (which could be wrong) there are no birthday's or anniversaries this week!

They have showed Dad's house a few times but so far no interest. Hopefully someone will be interested soon.
