"How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the aged, sympathetic with the Striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong, because someday in your life, you will have been all of these," George Washington Carver
Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week

How is the weather where you are? It is still in the 80's here but it is pleasant in the morning.
Start right off with wishing niece Liz & her husband Rik a very happy 25th Anniversary on the 8th. It is hard to believe that it has been that long ago! What a handsome couple they made. My son in law Dan would never forget it, it was the first time he had ever seen snow. He was having a ball just taking pictures of it, didn't matter what it was if it had snow on it, he took a picture! Hope you both have a wonderful day!
Monday was a busy day at our house, Todd came out and pressure cleaned all the sidewalks. Gosh they look so nice, he did a great job! I on the other hand finally got out weeding in my flower beds. Fill a trash can, I felt that was really getting into it. Was planning to get out there everyday but of course there is always an excuse to do it tomorrow.

So, now for some bad news....cousin Charles had an episode and the Dir's tell him he has to have a heart valve replaced. He will meet with the Dr. on the 8th to find out just when that will happen. Will let you know...please keep him in your prayers.
Took Bill to the VA to get his eyes checked yesterday and I learned something new. The Dr. said that the freckle on his eye had stayed the same. Took me by surprise never had heard about that before. She said oh, yes he has had it for years and we are watching it closely. Got to look that up never heard about that one.
Well I must have done a great job with my dog Princes who became a diabetic, cause guess what? My Cocoa is now one! Found out this week, shots twice a day for her. With my eye problem I just hope I am giving her the right about of insulin.
As for Joyce & Jeff and their new puppies a new fence was installed this week....

But now there is another problem....check it out, now they are digging holes.
Friend Bet and husband Don are having a great trip. First they went to visit her family, especially her Mom. I believe I told you they have a bus size home away from home. They have traveled to NY to see Nigeria Falls for the first time and the last that I heard from them they were at Gettysburg. How wonderful to be able to take your time and get to see the country.
Well I guess that is it for this week. Sure would appreciate you sharing your news with me. It is hard to fill a letter with good things.
So sad about what happened in Washington with that young woman. This country needs better health care
Remember no one loves you like you do! So take good care of you! Have a great week!
Lots of Love
