"The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing" Walt Disney

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week. Got a little done in my yard but not as much as I would like. It is hard to be out there working after 9 a.m. , it is just too hot!

Lana, Shari and I took Dad to the Red Lobster last Sat evening. The food was fine, but I think Dad thought it was a little expensive but he didn't say anything. That is amazing :)

Lana is busy studding for her next test, to become a nurse.  I think she has either 2 or three more.  I know she will be glad when it is over.

Went to church on Sunday, but that was it for that day, just hung around the house.

On Monday I had Planning & Zoning in Viera. Most of the meeting went smoothly except we had an item that has been before us twice before and it still wasn't settle at our meeting. So they will be back next month as I will share it with you then, if we get it settle than.

Gosh, things are getting worser & worser as my children use to say. Patrick Air Force base is now on a four day work week (8 hrs) and they are talking about layoffs. I also know that it has effected people that work for contractors at KSC. Wonder if our representatives in Congress will cut their hours and pay?

On Tuesday evening I attended the vestry meeting at church. One of the beautiful things about our church is the tree's, but they are slowly dying and they have to be removed. Sad, so sad and expensive!

On Wednesday, I was off to Dad's. Got there while the nurse was there taking care of his leg. According to him she is one of the best in the world! She gives him lots of attention (and he likes that).

Would like to wish my daughter Nancy a very Happy Birthday today! Gosh time flies but that is the way life goes. Also Happy Birthday wishes to my dear friend Betty Valentine on the 15th.

Well, this has been quite a week for me. We still had not got our refund check from our taxes. Not much money I assure you but still wanted it. So I went on line did you know there is a form on the IRS site for lost checks?

I sure didn't! Got that filled out and sent in! Then I had ordered new check about three weeks ago, and they had not come! I have checked my bank account and nothing has been touched but no checks. So I called them and got that taken care of, really need those checks!

Then to make matter worse, I pay my medicare every three months. Every three months I am on the look out for the statement. This was the month! About the middle of the month I found a form where I could just have them take it out of my bank account and boy did I get busy and send that in. I am supposed to get my bill around the 15th and it is due by the 25th. I did not get it last month, I got it last Sat. the 6th. I quickly got it right back in the mail. Would you believe they sen it back to me saying I did not have medicare. You talk about someone upset! So this is how that lies right now, after waiting on the line the first time for 27 minutes, they hung up on me. The second time I waited for 45 min, she couldn't hear me and hung up on me! The third and final time I waited 30 min before I got this nice young man who was very helpful and assure me that my Medicare was paid until Oct. He had no idea why I would get that letter! He gave me a number to call, but I have decided that I will go to the SS office on Monday and get it taken care of. If it isn't one thing it is another.

we have one more picture of Eloise to share....
 What a doll she is!

Finally the trial has gone to the jury, but the TV stations are beating it to death. They are getting everyone opinion on everything, and Bill is glued to it!

Got a pretty busy week this coming week. We save those can's and about every six months I turn the in. Get about $70 or $80 so it is worth the trip. On Tuesday,

I am going to have my eyes check for glasses to see if I can improve what I read.

Dad's on Wed....then on Friday really looking forward to going to see Pat in a show at Disney. Only one free day next week, but I am sure something will come along to fill the slot :).

By the way I mentioned the dog Joyce & Jeff were getting. It is a golden retriever but they are not done yet...sometime this week they will be getting a golden dodle! Looks to me that Joyce is finished with this session and it will start again in the fall.

It looks like Joyce is done with this session of the Maine Legislation until the fall.  She has had some very long days and into the night with this session and I know she must be tired.

Helen is back in NM and loving her new home.  Garrett did a wonderful job taking care of her home while she was gone.  He will be starting college in the fall.

Judy is back in NJ after a long stay in MA taking care of her granddaughters,

Well I guess that is it for this week, remember no one loves you like you do and take good care of you!

Lots of Love,

a, aa, ~g~
