“What can you do to promote world peace? Go home and love your family.” ― Mother Teresa

Good morning everyone, hope that you have had a great week! Did you get to see lots of fireworks on Thurs? We didn't see as many as we heard! Cocoa & I went to bed early, had the window unit going, plus the TV, that drowned out a lot of them. Don't know about your animals, but it scares her big time.

Happy to say, that I got started in my flower beds! What a mess, my roses bushes look great, but no roses on them! The weeds and the grass is very healthy and hopefully I can get out there early every day and get rid of them. After 10 it is just too hot to be out there, Want to get out there and spray the fence with weed killer, but of course the wind is blowing.....

Helen is back in NM, hope she had a great trip to Maine and back home. Don't know how her reunion went, but I am sure she had a great time with Joyce, Jeff & Judy. Judy will be leaving Salem around the 10th, so at that point we will all be in our places with bright sunshinie faces :)

Granddaughter Krista is home from VA this week. She has been on the go since she got home. It is always great to have her home, but I remember when I went home, it was great to see my parents but I just had to see all my friends.

Want to wish dear friend Mike a very happy birthday on the 11th, I hope I am not forgetting anyone else. It seems every once in a while someone slip thru my birthday list. If you get a chance drop me a line so I can make sure I have your birthday!

Stacey & Paul are home for the weekend. Always nice to have them visit, but I hardly ever see them. Not a big deal, because as I said I remember going home ......

Lana has (I think) three more test before she gets her nursing degree. Lots of study, and being on call for Dad, does make it hard for her, not to mention her long hours at work.

Poor Nancy, she has not been busy at her shop, so she has started several jobs cleaning houses, and pet sitting.

Seen this on Face book and I thought I would share it just incase you missed it. I think it is a neat idea, don't you? You could almost line your drive way with pots so you could see what is out there :)
Buy a flower pot that you really like and use Rustoleum's Glow-in-the-dark paint to paint the pot. During the day, the paint will absorb the sunlight and at night the pots will glow.

Well Joyce & Jeff took the big step and got another Golden RetrevierHere she is in all her glory...no name that I have heard yet, but she is beautiful and will keep them on their toes for awhile. :)

This is a picture of my family celebrating my parents 60th Anniversary. I am sharing it with you because if Mom was still with us they would be celebrating their 76th on the 10th.
I guess this is it for this week, please take good care of yourself and remember no one loves you like you do.

Lots of Love,

a, aa, ~g~
