Stand up to your obstacles and do something about them. You will find that they haven't half the strength you think they have.

Good morning all, hope that you all had a great week and all you Mother had a wonderful day. I certainly did, Pat & Dave gave me those wonderful flowers & choc. covered strawberries, Diana & Nancy took me to see the Big Wedding (which was a very funny movie) and then to dinner. So it was a very special day!
There isn't too much going on around here so this will mostly consist of rambling.....
Last Saturday, Diana & I took Dad to Shell's for dinner. Diana went with me so she could spend time with me on Sunday. That was great for us, but left Dad lonely on Sunday. Plus the fact Diana takes him the TV guide out of the paper so he didn't get that until Tuesday...Sad turn of events for him.
On Monday, Lana to him to the wound center. Dad feels great about the fact the Dr. said it looked good and he didn't have to come back for three weeks. Bless her heart Lana tries so hard to please him (as we all do)but she is closer and is hit with his depression or wants more often.
My dishwasher refused to drain all the water out. So on Monday I called and had Sears come out to look at it. $75 just to have him visit....I have always hated my dishwasher and I picked it out and bought it. But as soon as I had it I hated it....It is an LG, I will never buy another one. The first thing he said after he looked up the serial number was that it was 12 yrs old, which surprised me I didn't think it was that old. The problem was the hose had kinked, the pump is on a timer and it was not getting the water out.....thank the Lord no parts needed. Another thing he told me was on an LG the pump usually goes out in about 4 yrs.... By the way Bill looked up when we bought it and it was in 09...hmmmmm
Guess what that isn't all when I took my shower on Tuesdaymorning what a thrill....no hot water. It didn't seem to bother Bill until he took his shower that night. First thing on Wed. morning he wanted me to call a plumber! For those of you that know Bill you will get a kick out of this. When the plumber seen the hot water tank he said..."this is a first, who put this tank in I have never seen a hot water tank with to wash machine hoses before!" Of course Bill didn't hear him. But we ended with a new water tank.
Tuesday evening I attended the vestry meeting. Two things I am very happy about. We have decided to dedicate the Education Building in honor of our late Priest Fr. Perrine. The 2nd thing is someone is going to pay to have the parking lot temporally fixed but it will sure be a blessing when it rains.
Took Bill to the VA yesterday to see his GP. Of course there is always something new and different that is wrong.
Hoeing that old gang of mine can get together soon. Of all of us Lori seems to be the busiest and we have to look at her calendar first.
Wish I had more to tell you unless you are interested in the fact that Diana is still fighting flea's. Had a mole removed and a root canal on the same day also had her front bath room retiled...that is about it for my news.
Let me hear from you...so I can share something other than what is going on in my life!
Take care and remember no one loves you like you do!
Lots of Love,
a, aa, ~g~
