"The only man who never makes mistakes is the man who never does anything." Theodore Roosevelt
Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week! Got quite a lot done in my yard this week, plus I found a few more mussels that I forgot I had. Sprayed my roses and they are looking great!
Want to start right off wishing a 21'st happy birthday (some are closer than others to it) to cousins Charles & Dudley Morrell, they are celebrating today! Tomorrow sister Helen will be celebrating, then on the 14th my dear friend Karen will have her day as queen of the barn if Bo will let her. The very best of birthday's to all of you!
Of course last Saturday was the Kentucky Derby. I arrived at Dad's and he was afraid that I was going to miss it. It started at 4 and I got there about4:10. The race took place about 6:30-35. We will do it again on the 18th, for the Preakness.
William was home this weekend, and he made Dad's day. He mowed the lawn and cut shrubs, edged and took the blower to everything. Dad was very happy with all his work. As you can see in this picture Dad was quite happy.
William was just excited to see him! It doesn't matter who you are if you are family he loves to see you or hear from you.
 one way or another....
Are you all ready for Mother's day? Pat & Dave was a little ahead of time this year, this is what they sent me...
The goodies in the box is choc covered strawberries. Beautiful flowers and scrumptiously deliciouscandy...Thanks so much Pat & Dave. The girls plan to take me to lunch and to a good movie,,looking forward to that.
Finally got the pool filled, it is so funny he missed a place and now it looks like I have a water bottle with a straw on the bottom. He still did a fine job!
Greg still seems to be struggling with his knew, but I remember when Mom had that done it took awhile and she was so thankful not to have the pain anymore.
Jess & Casey and of course Eloise are just ab.... out settled in their new home...Of course we don't know what Kyle & Erica are doing but we do know Evangeline is doing fine.
Hope everyone has a great Mother's Day, I don't know about you but the very best Mother's Day that I had all of my children & grandchidren  came out and worked in the yard for me, putting down mulch, power washing and so forth. Even listening to them complain was great it felt like they were all back home.  Don't get me wrong, I am always pleased at their attention but this was special to me.

Have a great week, and remember no one loves you like you do!

Lots of Love,

a, aa, ~g~
