"Forget all the reason's it won't work, and believe the one that will!" author unknown
Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week! It is quite warm here already and to work in the yard I have to get out there about 7 or so. Did get some things done this week but I am so far behind in my yard I will never catch up!
On Monday morning as I was on my way to Dad's to take him to the wound center I spotted something in the road. At first I thought it was a stick but I slowed way dawn to make sure and this is what it was....a baby alligator....He quickly flew off the road towards the ditch. Couldn't help think of Joyce she has yet to see one. This is not the one but it will give you and idea how small it was.
Want to apologize to my granddaughter Stacey & her husband Paul, don't know what happen but Monday was their 2nd anniversary and my reminder forgot to remind me. So sorry I am sure it was a great day! Happy Anniversary to you both!
Last Sat & Sunday was like a war zone here. They were target shooting all day and into the evening. Plus, they were exploding something every once in a while. So I stopped at the Sheriff's office here on the Island on Monday on my way back from Dad's just to find out the law on target shooting. I still can't believe what they told me. As long as my property & life was not in danger they can shoot as much as they want. They can't shoot after 7 in the evening that is against the noise ord. Can you believe that?
Would like to thank everyone who gave me the answer to Sweet Caroline, especially David. It looked like no one was going to tell me the secret until he called me to tell me. Got lots of replies after his call. It was also in the paper about Neil Diamond coming all the way to Boston to sing the Boston Red sox song that they have adopted and play every game. The song was written for Caroline Kennedy. Thanks again everyone.
Also from last week, Jeff is the one pictured in the paper in the wheel chair. There is a fund set up for him at http://www.gofundme.com if you care to donate to him, The Governor of MA & the mayor of Boston has set up a fund for all of them, you can find that website at http://onefundboston.org/ What a tragic thing that happen....one of the ladies was a dancer and has lost her leg just below her knee. Awful!!!! But she swears she will dance again...I pray so.
Last Saturday, Lana & I took Dad to the Olive Garden. My bet tonight will be Shell's!
Helen has her plane reservation all set and will be here the first week of June. It will be great to see her again!
Took Dad to the Wound Center on Monday. The Dr. said that he has done all he can do for him. Except see him on Monday and put med's on the wounds that should help heal them. We are still having trouble with the home health care nurses. This week she put tape on his skin. (It is too fragile for that) so when they took it off the Dr. said he was sure that would be the nest wound they would be treating. The Dr's nurse suggested that maybe we should get a 2nd opinion from another Dr at the wound center. Lana and I discussed it, but no decision has been made as yet. I suggested to Lana she needed to call the Home Health people and set them straight on what they should be doing. She did and believe me right now they have it right, and Dad is happy about it. Thank God for Lana, she is an angel!
Please keep Greg Marshall in your prayers, he is having knee surgery this week!
On Tuesday it was back to the retina center again for my shot in the eye. The good news is my eyes have not changed so that is a blessing! They just do one eye at a time, so I will be going back on Tuesday for the shot in my left eye.
Pat has done a great job on the pool, he finished yesterday! Now we have to wait until it is try before we start to fill it. Maybe by June I can go swimming
. We are filling it with well water and it will just drain in the pool slowly until it is filled.
Well I guess that is about it for this week. Hope all is well with you and yours! Remember, no one loves you like you do!
Lots of Love,
