Got to say this has been quite a week! Sorry didn't get a picture of my rose garden as yet, but will do that soon. Got the rose that I wanted (Ketchup & Mustard) and Todd got it planted. Had some problems with the sprinkler hose that we put in years ago and Todd got that fixed. He really has been a great help to me.

On Sat., I took Dad to Shells for dinner, he really loves their Clam Chowder. When he got out of the car (he can't wait for you) he slammed his finger in the door! OUCH! Got some band aid for it and thought that I had gotten it to stop bleeding. At least he got his dinner and he was pleased with that. Lana came over and wrapped his finger. She decided later that he really should have had stitches but that was too late.

On Monday I took him to the wound center in Palm Bay. His foot was swollen so when they wrapped it, that could not get his shoe on! So they put a surgical shoe on him. He never said a thing while it was going on but when we got in the car I can see he was very upset. It upset him so much he felt like everything was about over for him. Thank God for Lana (cause I really didn't understand him being so upset) she talk to him and he is wearing it although he doesn't like it one bit!
About the only thing that made Dad happy on Monday was Dancing with the Star's!  He really loves that show.

In the afternoon I went to the Brevard County Local Planning Agency meeting in Viera. Our big agenda including a section of Melbourne Beach where they are going to do a study to allow dogs on the beach. It seems the Condo owners were upset with it at first, using the excuse that they were allergic to dogs and they wouldn't be able to breath on the beach because of it. But it turned out in that Condo they have at least 20 dogs and they can breath in the elevator....so it shouldn't bother them on the beach! It was passed.

On Tuesday (my day off ) We were off the Patrick Air Force Base to get my new ID card. (Never even noticed that it had expired until I used it for my 10 % discount at Home Depot and the clerk spotted it) Last time we went it was a 1, 2, 3 thing and it was over. This time it was different. You have to have an appointment or it is a long wait. We waited a while and then decided to make an appointment. So we go back next week.

Todd was over in the afternoon and my golf cart gave out. I use that thing for everything! When I cut branches, I stack them on the top and take them to the road. I load the trash on it to take it to the road....any way Todd pushed in back into the garage for me, cause I thought the battery was just dead. We put it on charged it over night.

On Wednesday, the first day of Spring, we welcomed a new member to our family. Evangeline Grace Marshall

8lb 7oz, 20 inches, Born at 11:47am 3/20/2013 Parents Erica & Kyle are doing great! What a beautiful baby!
Here she is with her Dad!

Also, on Wednesday, Nancy had finished her customer and was setting at the desk writing the ticket and making her next appointment when a lady drove thru the building where she was sitting! Thank the good Lord no one was seriously hurt. But Nancy was bruised up pretty good!

To add to all the excitement, I went out in the evening to see if my cart would start. No way it would not move, so I plugged it back in to the charger and when I did, there was a loud bang! One of the batteries exploded! So Thursday was pretty much spent on watching the guy fix the cart. I didn't know about putting water in the batteries, so I learned that lesson. He told me to keep it on charge for 5 hrs. and it should be fine. In the mean time we had the acid from the battery on the garage floor. So after 5 hours I went out to move the cart so I could clean it up and guess what? It didn't work! So I had to call them back and they came and took the cart this time. Quick service tho, they brought it back yesterday. It seems some wires got burn when the battery exploded.

Gosh the pollen is thick here, we need rain so badly and we are suppose to get some this weekend.

Talking about the weekend they are having a big country music show in Melboure for the whole weekend. Diana and friends will be there. She so enjoys that kind of thing, I hope it just rains here.

Got a million things I should do today and I am not sure where I will start and next week doesn't look much better.

I guess that is it for today, take good care of yourself and just remember no one loves you like you do

Lots of Love,

a, aa, ~g~
