Laughter is like the human body wagging its tail."

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week. The weather here has been great for the most part, got a little cooler here on Friday. Bill just knew we were going to have a frost and covered up his garden (3 tomato plants). Can't complain about those plants we have gotten some great tomato's from them.

Want to start off with this picture I neglected to put in last week...it is Krista first snow man if you are on Face book you may have seen it already.
Photo: Our Floridian snowman!&Ä&: @jusackinup
Can't tell if Andrew is laughing at the snow man or what

Up date from cousin Elaine " Staples came out yesterday (30 of them) I am doing as well as the doc tells me I should be doing; I am making very sure that I am not over doing. My main concern of course is the healing on the inside, so it looks like I am going to be taking the 5 weeks for recoop instead of the 4 weeks. I am enjoying my porch for a change. So far so good, trying to be a model patient LOL! I just have to be patient with myself."

Not so good news about Joanna Campbell...they have not done anything with her hand. She had a seizer this week and they think she may have had a stroke at the same time. Please keep them both in your prayers.

Took Dad on Monday to the wound center. It seems that the old wound on the top of his leg as opened again. So they put skin graphs on both the top and bottom of his leg. But doesn't hurt him and so the saga continues.

Came home and got ready to go to the Local Planning Meeting in Viera. One of the items on the agenda was a moratorium transpiration fee's. Of course most of the board are either in construction or are realtor's and of course they wanted to do away with it all together. It went on and on...while all the County was asking was to extend it for two more months. You can never win with odds like that but they finally realized they couldn't do anything about it and finally passed it.

Krista's Andrew is in the Coast Guard, I may have mentioned that before. Anyway, he has gone out to sea and she is alone. One of the first things that happened was a pipe broke! She is still looking for a job, going for another interview on Monday. Want to wish her the best, I know it is hard being so far away from home, but I know she can do it!

Stacey on the other hand had an experience this week. She took one of her dogs outside and the other one lock the door on her. She had to have Paul come home and unlock the door.

On Wednesday I was off to Dad's again and got there before the Physical Therapist left. His shoulder is still bothering him and she had him lifting a can of baked beans to help that shoulder. He will do it while she is there but after that it is hard to get him to do it. He used to go to Publix and get a sub, have it cut in four pieces so he would have lunch for four days. So last week I got him a sub and did just that. Well, things have changed he was concerned that it would spoil and he only ate a couple of them. This week he wanted a hamburger....so I got him one with fries. He liked the fries better than the hamburger...but you never know with him next time he won't eat the fries.

How's the gas prices where you are? They have climbed to $3.45 and some places $3.50. I hope it doesn't go much higher.

Did you know in New Mexico you are not required to have auto insurance? Is there any other states that don't require it?

Helen seems to be doing fine there, she has moved forward with plans for her new house.

Joyce is busy with the Legislature, she has her whole heart and sole in it and is working hard for her district and the people of Maine.

I am so excited Judy is coming on the 10th to stay with Dad for two weeks. That means I will have one week off and maybe can get some work done in my yard!

Poor Lana had her car broke into this week and they took her cell phone!

Friday I took Bill to the VA, to see his GP. Of course it works like everything else, now he has to recommend that the cardiologist see him as soon as possible. Who knows when that will be.

I guess the joke of the week is...Dad lost his contact about six weeks ago, we all looked for it but to no avail. He said "Oh well, I will just use my glasses, may not get contacts any more". Well about a week ago he decided he did need his contacts and Lana & Shari took him yesterday. Guess what? They found his contact! It was under his upper lid! He has to keep in solution for a few days and then he will be good to go.

Well I guess that is it for this week, wish I had more to say but I hardly hear from anyone so it is hit or miss so they say.  Do get a nice note from Sue & Paul every week, and Gloria checks in from time to time.  Please let me know how things are going with you so I can share....

Have a great week and remember no one loves you like you do.  Don't have the prayer list this week, sorry Shari is trying to download my old files.
Lots of Love,

a, aa, ~g~
