"If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy, and inspires your hopes." - Andrew Carnegie
Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week. The weather has been a little cool for us Floridians but a whole lot warmer than it has been in most places.
On Saturday, Dad wanted to go to Red Lobster again but I talked him into going to another sea food place and wonders of wonders he liked. His first requirement is that it is clean, then he other things. But the food was good, so hopefully we can replace Red Lobster with it. And if he didn't get 30 shrimp it was close.
On Sunday, Diana went to visit Dad, she goes every Sunday. She also takes him a roll, which he always get around to eating.
Sad news sister Joyce & Jeff had to put down their beloved dog. Chealsea was 13 and had cancer, I know it was hard for them but she is resting comfortable now. we all loved her.
Took Dad to the wound center on Monday, and the bad news is the last skin graph did not take. So, they will try another one this week.
On Tuesday, the physical therapist came to Dad's to help him build up the mussels in his legs. It is another visitor for him and he enjoys the attention.
Want to wish a very special day today to nephew Jacob. He is 13 today. Have a great day Jake!
Hope I am not forgetting anyone else...When Shari came on Sunday to install my computer my old one was completely dead. So she took it home to get all the old stuff on it. Hopefully she can transfer it soon, cause my birthday list is on it. But love my new computer, I don't have to wait forever for it to come up.
Yesterday was Baxley day and I found out where the people are now living...right across the street almost from where they were. When we got there the cupboard was bare. But thanks to Lori and Jan's great shopping ability we filled it up again. They are so great they watch for good deals everywhere.
Krista got her first taste of snow in VA.
She said it was a shock to her car which is a real Floridian. But she drove in it and did well
On Tuesday we got grandson Pat on the road. Got the tag and everything and now he is able to come out and do little things for his granddad.
Just had to share this photo that was in Facebook. Can't believe it happened....
Do they have tame Moose?
The only other thing that happened this week was our church organist. He has played at out church for 20 years, and he is a great guy. But he decided to retire (he is 70) So we will be with out music for a while. Now I hear that organ music is not the norm in churches any more is that so? The swing is more to keyboards etc.
Understand that Elaine surgery went well and she should be home soon. Very scary surgery a tumor on your kidney but they got it all.
Well I guess that is it for this week, just remember no one loves you like you do.
Lots of Love
a (aa) `g`
