"The best thing about the future, is that it comes one day at a time" Abraham Lincoln 1809-1865

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week! The weather here has been great, not to hot and not to cold! Love it!

Got to start off by telling you I am so excited, my grandson Pat came over yesterday and dug up my rose bed. You would not believe the roots he found in there and big ones at that. He is coming back this morning to finish the job and put down new screening as well as well as the mulch! I hope this will do the trick and my roses will be on there way again!

Last Saturday, sisters Helen, Lana & Shari and I took Dad to Olive Garden for dinner. We all enjoyed it, it was so nice to have at least some of the family there.

On Sunday (after church) Lana & Shari came over and got my computer straighten out. I am still not sure what caused it but Shari does and that is the important part!  Now she has Bill scanner, for the life of me we could not get it on any channels.  So hopefully she got it set so I can get it from her today.

On Tuesday, I went and picked up Stephanie at the airport in Orlando . It was so nice to see her, it had been many years. She spent the night with us and on Wednesday I took her down to Dad's. Helen was quite pleased to see her, she knew the last leg of her adventure was about to start. Dad was pleased to have her, although he had met her before, he did not remember her. She really impressed him, so she will be welcomed back as many times as she wants to come.

Also on Wednesday Joyce was sworn in at the State House in Augusta. Her children as well as her husband were eye witness.
On Thursday, Helen got her car packed, washed clothes and got Dad all set and started on her long trip to CA. I was shocked when I asked her how far she thought that she would get the first day on Wednesday, and she said she wouldn't be out of Fl. I met her and Steph for lunch and they started on their way about 1:15 or so in the afternoon. This morning, they are in Louisiana, I just hope they have a great trip and nothing goes wrong. She does have an older car...keep her & Stephnie in you prayers.

Last week I forgot to mention that Paul Bennett was celebrating his birthday on the 6th.  Sorry, Paul hope it was a good one!  Happy belated birthday!

Next week promises to be a busy one for me, got something on the schedule for every day including Sat.  My granddaughter graduates next Sat and I think the time is 9am...So I don't know if just chatting will be on time or not.

Well I guess that is it for rambling this week.  Hope you have a great week, and remember no one loves you like you do.

Lots of Love
