December 1, 2012

"I was always looking outside myself for strength and confidence, but it comes from within. It is there all the time."-- Anna Freud

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week, not too busy, and of course I hope you are in good health. The weather her really has been very nice, nice breeze, but that nice breeze makes it cooler. Have done some work in my yard but as always have a lot more to do.

Hope that none of you have this cold that is going around, I am still coughing with a running nose and both people that waiting on me today had the same...just seems to be passing it around.

Dad is kind of depressed, Helen is leaving next week and he does not want her to go. She has spoiled him and he has gotten use to it. Then he found out that Lana is going to Rochester after Christmas for a week and he has just decided he will just go out and sit in the street! Although he has been told that either Diana, Nancy or myself will be checking on him everyday....he wants someone to stay with him. Just hope all will work out with him. He was so upset last Sat., he would not go to dinner with us.

Got a nice note from Sue, all is going well for her and Paul. They love the place where they are. They have lots of interesting things to do and see. That is great!

Have not heard from anyone else so I can only pass news on that I hear.

Joyce will be sworn in for her new term as House Representative on December 5th. They are already busy selecting committee's etc.

From Judy's side....looks like Eloise got into her Mom's make up
They can get into anything so quickly, but she did a great job don't you think?

Then brother-in-law David sent this picture of a bear making himself at home at the Red Pine Dump, in Allardville , New Brunswick.
This is about as close as I would like to get to him! But it is a funny picture.

After all the work, that Pat & David did on my computer on Thanksgiving (and it was working like a top) it quit the other morning. As usual when I am in trouble with it I call Shari, she has been so good to me over the years to keep my computer going. She and Lana even came up, she worked on it about two hours and could not get it to connect to the internet. She thinks it is a card gone bad in it.. She took it home and is supposed to bring it back on Sunday. Keep your fingers crossed for me that it is just that simple. That Shari is the greatest!

Then I would warn you that you must have your current insurance card with you at all times when you are driving! When the officer stopped me and asked for it....I had in the glove box dated back to 2008 but he would not accept it, so he gave me a $130 ticket for no proof of insurance! It really isn't that bad, but you have to take your proof to the court house and prove that you have it, then they drop the charges and it only cost you $10....but it is a hard way to learn something! But leave it to me, that is how I learn best!

Got the news from the VA on Bill's biopsies, three of them were positive and they have set up an appointment on the 12th for him to see the surgeon.

On Thursday, I went out to work for a retirement party for three dear friends. They are all so unhappy with the work environment, they are glad it is over. So sad it used to be the greatest place to work, now they are all hanging on with their nails.

I guess that is about it for this week, please let me hear from you, I would like to know what is going on where you are.
Please take good care of yourself and remember no one loves you like you do!
