"If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way" Napoleon Hill (American Author)
WEW! Christmas is over, but what a wonderful time of year! Got to say it is always a busy time for me, because I am always behind, trying to catch up.
Made my bread as usual, it is always a big hit. But the great thing about it was granddaughter Stacey and her husband came out to help make the cinnamon rolls....the rolling is the hard part and she made it look so easy (use to be a lot easier for me also). She made three large pans and I made the last one. Real family time! Now that she knows how, maybe I can count on her to help every year.
David & Pat were here at o dark thirty to put the 30 lb turkey on. What a wonderful day we had, almost everyone was here and I finally got my pictures that I wanted. The only one missing is Bill, he wasn't feeling well. Here is everyone
Paul, Stacey, Todd, Diana Me, Krista, Nancy
in the back row: Patrick, Dawn & Pat.
Here I am with my children
Dawn, Diana, Nancy and Patrick in the back
Here I am with my grandchildren:
Stacey, Todd, Pat & Krista
I am so happy that we got the pictures but David is not in any of them he was busy taking the pictures.
Although Dad isn't in to Christmas any more he still made out well! He got a lb of fresh lobster already to eat, a gift card, plus his peanut brittle that he loves.
I have mention Jo Anna Campbell in several of the last chatting's. She really needs your prayers, she had to have both legs amputated yesterday and the hands are still in doubt. Please keep her and the family in your prayers.
Lana and Shari got off to Rochester, where they have lots of snow and 24 degree's the last time I checked.
That means she left the girls and I in charge of Dad. He was very concerned that he wouldn't see anyone while she was gone. Nancy went down on Thursday, fixed his dinner and spent the night. Diana went down yesterday. I go today and then we repeat. You asked him on the phone how he is doing and he is always fine so someone has to eyeball him every day.
Shari came and got my desk top on line again on Sunday before Christmas. I see so much better with it but the next morning I had loss connection again. So we both agreed that I need a new computer. So after she gets back she is going to help me find one. This laptop works great, it is just that everything is so small.
Krista leaves Sunday for VA. I have been so fortunate to have all my family in state, she will be the first to go. I am certainly going to miss her.
Well folks I think that is about it for this week. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you the best of the New Year. Drop a line sometime I would love to hear from you.
Please take good care of yourself and remember no one loves you as much as you do!
Lots of Love
