"When we walk to the edge of all the light we have and take a step into the darkness of the unknown, we must believe one of two things will happen –there will be something solid for us to stand upon, or we will be taught to fly.” ~Author Unknown
Good morning all, hope you have had a great week! Mine has been a busy one a usual. But I have so many things to be thankful for especially the fact that Bill had Pat take that old wheel barrel that has been out by the barn for at least 5 years out for the trash!
A little brisk here this am ...42 degree's
As you know last Sat., was a big day for the family! Krista graduated from the University of Central Florida! We are all so proud of her! One of her surprises was her boyfriend Andrew came! She was so surprised!
A very nice looking young man, it was the first time that I had met him. I know you can't tell it but he has beautiful eyes & lashes (you know the kind that a lady should have).
Here we are in full force...Diana, guess who, Krista, Nancy, Andrew, Todd & Stacey!
Afterwards we came back to the Island for lunch, I didn't even have time to come back home, I was off for a visit with Dad. Of course we had a lovely dinner at the Family place(Olive Garden) we both had plenty of left overs for the next day.
On Monday at oh dark thirty I took off for Melbourne to take Dad to the Wound Center in Palm Bay. The Dr. removed another bone from his leg so it will be awhile before they start the skin graphs again. The good news is they are closed Christmas eve (but they will be open New Years eve) and the visiting nurse started back again. Don't know if I mentioned it but he fell last week, he swore he was not hurt but was complaining every once in awhile about his rib. When we got home from the wound center the Dr. stopped by. Dad never has any pain so we all were concerned about him. So they came to the house and x-rayed him and he is fine.
You know if you would drop me a line and let me know what is going on with you, you wouldn't have to listen to all my travels!
Tuesday, was Paul's 30th Birthday, he said he had a great day! Here he and Stacey are celebrating.
Also on Tuesday, I got another shot in my eye. no picture here
Wednesday was a big day for Baxley Manor! We did the Christmas party for them They were all so grateful and pleased with what the got. Of course before the gifts, they played Bingo. In their game everyone wins, because the prizes are something we take to them. (toilet paper, shampoo etc.) Certainly got me in the Christmas spirit.
Here is a picture that Diana took on her mail route on Thursday....Joyce has yet to see one.
On Thursday, I was on the road again to Dad's. He loves Italian subs so that is what we had. Got a big on so he could have it another day.
Talking about Christmas and Santa...here is Eloise on her visit to Santa
Got to say she doesn't look to happy about it!
Yesterday, Joyce sent Dad a pd of lobster meat, I would like to tell you he was one happy camper! Lana was there when it arrived, she fixed it for him and she said he really dug in (remember he doesn't eat very much
) Good job Joyce.
Judy & Greg are spending Christmas with Eloise.
Well I got to get busy, got lots to do before Christmas. I want to thank everyone for their cards & letters, I really enjoy getting them.
The young girl that I mention last week Johnna Campbell is not doing well, it looks like she will have to have her hands as well as her feet removed, please say an extra prayer for her and her family.
Take good care of yourself and have a wonderful holiday, and remember no one loves you as much as you do. Merry Christmas to all
Lots of Love
a (aa) g~
