As I grow older, I pay less attention to what people say. I just watch what they do.

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week! The weather here has been nice, but quite windy. So if it was 69 the wind made it 60 or so...hate to say it but that is getting cool for me.
On Saturday, the guy came and finished up our rug on the porch, believe me we needed it, the one that was down was at least 15 years old. Got my plants all set, even have one Christmas Cactus that is blooming, the others will be in full bloom soon. But I have one that blooms at Christmas and then again in the spring. Don't know how that happens....
Helen and I took Dad to Chicago Grill for dinner. Dad & I used to go there all the time and for some reason we stopped. I am not sure if it was the noise or the cost....but he said it was ok this time a little pricey....
Sunday was a beautiful day, off to Church at 8. Picked up my crock pots from Wed and then I was home for the rest of the day.
I sat on the back porch and thought I should get busy and pressure clean the sidewalks they were such a mess. You have heard that old saying don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today. I should have listen to that but I didn't! Got up on Monday with the wind blowing about 25 miles an hour and and about 60 out. But wanted to get it done before Thanksgiving...I liked to froze to death. That night it took forever to get my feet warm.
On Tuesday, I took Bill to the VA in Orlando to see the dermatologist. There were five spots around his head they did a biopsy on. He was covered with band aids when he came out. We should hear the results soon.
Wednesday I was off to Dad's for a visit. But first I put my bread to raise. We had a nice visit and Helen asked me if I had AAA and I told her yes, although she has a GPS she thought it would be nice to have their Trip Tik for her trip to NM. Yesterday I went in to AAA to order it. Guess what? They don't send the maps any more, you have to print them off. Now if it was there I didn't see it. So I printed it, not like they use to send I tell you. 58 pages! I hope it helps.
Came home and started my loaves of bread....cut down on how many I usually make also cut down on how many cinnamon rolls. My mussels in my arms are still sore from pressure cleaning and rolling out that dough.
Our Thanksgiving was terrific! Everything went just like it should. That David is a God sent to me, He and Pat got here about 7:30 and he started, got the turkey on and just keep moving. In the mean time Pat was busy installing my Christmas present .... a new modem. He worked on it forever, then they worked on it and then back to Pat. You see I have this game on Facebook I love to play and they were hoping that this would do the job. It kept kicking me off and it wasn't doing what it was suppose to. It isn't perfect with the game, but it is a whole lot better than it was. Pat thinks I need a new computer it would be faster.
It was such a great day all my family was here, Paul's parent came also which is great because we had plenty. (you can tell by my over flow frig!)
Lana got a turkey and cooked it at Dad's. Helen got almost everything else ready. Don't know how Lana does it work all nice and then just keep going. Dad's comment was there was plenty of food, you know he doesn't eat that much!
Every year I say I am going to take pictures on Holiday's and every year I don't. I promise at Christmas I will but this is the only Holiday picture I have....Of course it was taken at Liz's house she is such a Martha Stewart.. Like Pat said she is such a wonderful HOSTESS!
