Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow".

Good morning all, hope though you have had a great week! I know for sure that Judy & Greg's was better they had power! Mine has been a busy week as usual, on the road doing something everyday.
Well it is that time of year that we do the Baxley Angles. This year we had 27 people down a lot from years past. The majority of them asked for gift cards, which makes it difficult for some people they would like to get them and item...but in the long run, it may be best. If they need clothing etc., they can get it with the gift card. One lady at church took seven names, she is going to have friends chip it because we like to do a $50 gift card for them. I am just thankful every year that we can get an angel for each one of them. I have one name left but I am sure I will find someone soon.
Last Saturday was a busy day, got my chili made and took it to the church. I worked for a couple hours in plant sales. We didn't have as many people there this year as before, and I will find out Sunday how we did. It is a great function that our church as to raise money for the Sharing Center.
Came home from the church and then was off to Dad's. Helen has been doing a great job taking care of him. One thing for sure she is doing is seeing that he gets less sweets and more fruit. Off we went to Longhorn's and again he had shrimp. Helen said it was the third time this week for shrimp for him. But according to him it was the first time he had shrimp for a long time.
Instead of church at 8 like we usually do we had it at 9:30 by that time I was deep in yard work so I missed church last week. Got a lot done in the yard tho.
One of the things our County P&Z passed lately was that you can have 4 chickens to a half acre. No roosters tho...just chicken or fowl.
I was so pleased Todd came over on Tuesday and repotted the two big plants that I have on my back porch. It took him no time to do it, and it would have taken me forever. I had bought those rolling coasters to go under them and wouldn't you know one broke. So I have to go to Home Depot and get another one, hopefully on Thanksgiving I can get him to lift it on it.
Helen has set her date to go to NM. Jeri her daughter-in-law will arrive here on the 5th of Dec. They will leave sometime after that. It will be sad for all of us, we are truly going to miss her.
A couple days ago on Face book they had a picture of Dad's old bus.
Dad said it had to have been taken in the late 50's or early 60's.
Wednesday turned out to be quite busy also. Was up early to make my meatballs for Fr. Perrine reception got them there about 9. Then off to take Cocoa to the groomer and off to Dad's.
Thursday, was Dr. day for me. I had an echo cardiogram as well as a artery check. The good news about that is nothing has changed, my visit with the Dr was after that and I am good for another six months Also had an eye visit in the afternoon. Nothing had changes.
Friday was Baxley Manor day, we filled their cupboard with much needed stuff. Lori and Jan are such good shoppers, they find the deals no matter what.
Soon Thanksgiving will be here, hope that you will have a great day and weekend next week. I have always made pies for just about everyone to take home. This year I am breaking that tradition. It is getting just to much for me. I will make all that bread, when I give that up you will know I am just plain old!
Have a great Thanksgiving and remember no one loves you like you do!
Lot's of Love,
