Good morning all, hope you had a great week. I can say for sure that sister Judy did not have a great week. They just got electric  yesterday in NJ where she lives. They do have a wood burning stove in the living room that thankfully they had a cord of wood on hand! It has been cooler here in Florida and Bill is freezing to death. He has his bedroom so warm it almost knocks you out when you go in. I know if he was at Judy's he would never survive.

My cold is much better, but I am still coughing....guess it goes with the territory. It seems everyone I know is coughing.

Oh, shame on me!  Last week I told you the people I forgot to mention their birthday's.....but forgot all together to mention my grandson Todd celebrated his 23rd birthday on the 28th of Oct.  How could I ever forget that!

Helen is really working at trying to keep Dad happy. She has done a great job and he is really going to miss her when she leaves. Last Sat., we went to the Olive Garden, one of his favorite places....the other one will be Longhorn tonight

Monday I had my Zoning meeting, The only thing exciting about that meeting was McDonalds wanted to put up a 60 ft sign in Viera and the people didn't want it that large. Forgot to mention that at my last Planning Agency meeting we disgust a new law that Brevard County is trying to pass. They do not want people to fertilize from June 1st to Oct 1st. It is the raining season here and they want to prevent run off. There is a lot more to it but I hope educating people about the run off will work.

Then there was the big day that we were all looking forward to it being over. There were many good results as well as some bad ones. But the good news is we won't have to see all that advertising until at least two more years. Sister Joyce represents District 31 in Maine it is mostly Washington County and she won hardly! I sometime wonder why she wants to do it (for her anyway) it is 24/7 job and she works very hard at it. Congratulation Joyce we wish you the best! I had tried several times to go to early vote, but the lines were way to long...so today was the big day! Dad had been all over me to make sure I voted (he did absentee as I told you) I went down about 9:30 and it took me all of 20 minutes to vote...in and out. Was glad that I didn't get in that line. No matter who you wanted, it is over and now they all need to work together for what is best for the United States, and I pray they will.

On Wed, I was off to Dad's, on the way back I stopped at BJ's. Just to pick up a few things....not long after I was on my way home after spending $198. It all adds up quickly.

So proud of granddaughter Krista, she graduates from UCF next month with a degree in nutrition. She has done a great job.  Stacey's dog Murphy visited Diana this week and here Krista is trying to get her blanket from him.
On Thursday, I was off early to go to Home Depot. I have two large plants on my back porch that the pots are falling apart on. They are those large plastic ones. I can't complain about them the plants have been in the pots for over 20 years...so I went to get two more. Todd was supposed to come over and help me transplant them. Bill was helping me unload all the stuff I had gotten and he fell. He is a mighty sore man. I tried to get him to go to the Dr. but you know how that is...he will be fine.

Today is our Fair at Church, all the proceed we make goes to the Brevard Sharing center. So yesterday I loaded all my plants up that I had potted and took them over. A guy was helping me unload them and asked me the name of one of them...I have no idea what the name is so I took a picture of my plant to take with me today.  The lady in charge knows her plants, my problem I love my plants just don't take the time to learn their names.   Made chili to take this morning, all I have left if to cut up the onions.

Not too much to say, hope all is well with you, and please remember no one loves you like you do!

Lot's of Love,
