Good morning all, hope that you have had a pleasant week. Did get a little bit done outside but very little. I have been trying for over a month to get Road & Bridges to come and cut the scrub palms that are in my neighbors right way so i can see to get out. First they came and cut on the hedge row on the right side of my yard, and I called and told them it was the left of the drive way. Then they came out and cut around the corner on to my street and thy sent me a note and hope I was satisfied. Of course I wasn't because it was not where I had told them that needed cut. Thankfully the supervisor called me and told me he was sorry for the mix up and they would get the area this week. Finally they came on Thursday and cut the heck out of those scrub palms. It is something they are going to have to keep up. But thankfully I now can see the road before I put my front tires on the road.. I feel bad for my neighbor, she is alone over there and the yard is just too much for her. At one time there were beautiful shrubs there but now they have been taken over by the pepper tree's and scrub palm's.
Got to say this last couple of weeks have been rough. Took Bill to the cardiologist last week and he believes that he needs a pace maker. Bill pulse has been running about 37 and normal is 60. The bad thing about that is we have to go to Tampa and get a evaluation. that is about three hours from here. Bill hates to go to Tampa but so far, he is only griping that we have to take that trip on the 29th. Then this week I took him to the urologist and his PSA count is almost 35 after his exam he told us he was 95% sure that he has prostrate cancer. Because of his heart problems and his age, they will not do a biopsy, he thinks it is too much for him. So he will be treated with medication.
I have missed several birthday's in the last few weeks but I want to make sure I wish my sister Lana a belated birthday on the 3rd. It seems the staff in the hospital where she works gave her a party! Hope it was a great one Lana. Don't want to leave out brother-in-law David who celebrated last Sunday! Something 0 but I don't think it was 30. This week's important birthday is another important brother-in-law....Jeff will celebrate the big day on Sunday. The best of birthday's to you Geoffrey!
Just couldn't help sharing another picture of Jess and Eloise...she is growing so fast!
Took Dad to his surgeon on Wed. No problem the bone chip will have to come out. The only problem is....Dad wants it done yesterday but the Dr. wants him to see his cardiologist first and that is not until the 28th.
Have been so worried about Dad rushing from the computer room to the living room to answer the phone. He is so out of breath when he does that. So I ordered a phone for this computer room. He had one in there but it didn't work. Know you will love this...the phone came and Lana went to hook it up and the reason the phone didn't work in there was it didn't have a cord!!!! Anyway he has a new one and it is for hearing impaired...hopefully that will solve the problem.
So excited for Joyce, she is running again for her house seat and today is the big international parade in Calais. The reason I am excited for her is ALL her immediate family will be there to march in the parade. Her children, and grandchildren will all be there. Do you realize how hard it is today to get all your family together at one time?
Last night Diana and I went to see the movie Spring Hope. It was a very funny movie. Really don't know if it was Spring Hope or Hope Springs...but I enjoyed it.
Tonight I was suppose to dog sit for Diana. She is going with friends to West Palm to see a country music show. I am so glad to see her get out. But Nancy is going to sit for me so after Dad's tonight I will be home.
Can't thing of anything else to share, so I will leave you for now. Hope you have a great week and remember no one loves you as much as you do!
Lot's of Love,
