"Character may be manifested in the great moments, but it is made in the small ones." ~ Phillips Brooks, was an American clergyman and author
Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week. About the only thing I accomplished this week in the yard (really not in my yard) was that I cut more pepper trees in my neighbor's right away. The County cut most of it but there were a couple bigger ones right next to the fence plus some small ones that needed to be cut. I cut until my power saw said it was time to be recharged (it was also time for me to be recharged) then I stopped. Got to get back up there and finish up, maybe today.
Don't have a lot to say this week and I will try to make it on the lighter side. First Mr. Murphy got in the shower again and he now has a blue cast!
Well the phone I got for Dad so that he wouldn't have to go to the living room to get the phone was a wash, so I had to send it back. The one he had in there a long time ago works like a charm he says!
Miss Eloise has lots of books, she couldn't decide which one to read so she took most of them off the shelf! Such a choice of good books
Next week son Pat & Dave are off to New England! They have been planning this for a year.
They will start off in Boston, then off to Maine. They will visit sister Joyce and husband Jeff and spend a few days in Lubec. I hope they take warm clothes because even Jeff says it is 20 degree's colder there than it is in Calais. Then off to visit Liz & Rik in NH. Hope they have a great trip!!!! Love you guys!
Would like to wish nephew Dean and very happy birthday on the 24th, also on the 24th dear friend Karen's husband Mike will hit his 26th Birthday, the best to you Mike! On the 29th David Garthe will celebrate his birthday in Maine! Happy Birthday to you all!!! Then a very happy 40th anniversary to Gloria & Don on the 26th...busy week!
Last Monday was a year since Dan left us. So in memory of him Diana & his sister Peggy went golfing. No, they do not golf, but from what I heard Dan go a good laugh in heaven!
Florida is the lighting capital of the world, in case you didn't know it. This week, everyday we have had a storm. Really bad most of the time, and lots of rain. The funny thing about that is it rains everywhere but Dad's. Don't know how that happens. Lana (who doesn't live far from him) gets down pours with lots of rain etc. But when you asked Dad...justa few sprinkles...no rain. Of course the secret to that is...he can't hear it.
Judy talked to Blair and he is doing fine. The last word we had he was getting ready to go out and hit a few balls....
Well I guess that is about it for this week. I have tried to stay on a positive note and believe me that is hard to do. Drop me a line and let me know what is going on in your end of the world and I will gladly share it.
Please take good care of yourself and remember no one loves you like you do.
Lot's of Love,
