"The secret of happiness is to make others believe they are the cause of it. " - Al Batt (motivational speaker)
What a wonderful way to start the day, I have been sitting on the back porch with Cocoa listening & watching the birds, right now the weather is great. But that soon will change to very hot I am sure.
Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week. From what I hear it has been quite warm everywhere and back to very little rain. I am concerned about my plants when I go, I am sure they will fry in the sun. But I think I have figured out a way to save some of them...let's see if it works.
Dad and I had dinner at Longhorn last week. He really enjoys his steak. I have been very concerned about him lately, he is so lonely. Lana & I do the best we can for him but he would just like to have someone there. Diana goes down every Sunday, and Nancy goes down when she con. I think it will be doublely hard on Joyce when it is time to leave because of it.
On Monday we went to the wound center and the good news is the larger sore is just about healed up. Thank goodness. He has a smaller one on the underside of his leg that they are now tackling. With the skin graph he can only wash up and he can't wait to be able to take a shower.
A different baby picture this week....Stacey & Paul have a new puppy...his name is Murphy
She says he is asleep here but he is a very active puppy.
Well the time has finally come for me to take my trip to Maine. I am really looking forward to it. Not only will I get to see my old classmates I will be spending time with my sisters.
Not too much news this week, same old running somewhere. I doubt that I will be sending out just chatting while I am away, but I will try to have pictures and lots of news.
Helen is really into her genealogy study and really enjoys it. This week Stacey called and she was looking for info on all the families. Helen is doing the Adams, so now we are looking for someone that is doing the Todd's & Morgan's. If you can help her out, she would greatly appreciate it.
Lana & Shari are really looking forward to going to VA to see Robby & Jenn. They will be going while Joyce is her but only for four days. I am sure they will have pictures to share also.
Fr. Roberts visited with Dad yesterday, he always looks forward to those visits.
Haven't heard from many of you in a long while...take the time and drop me a note. Would love to hear from you.
Remember take good care of yourself, and no one loves more than you do yourself.
Lot's of Love,
