Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, drink the wild air". Ralph Waldo Emerson (May 25, 1803 – April 27, 1882) was an American essayist, lecturer, and poet)

Good morning everyone, hope that you have had a great week. Last week I mentioned that I thought that the rain had stopped for a while here. Boy was I wrong. We had this thing called Debby (a tropical depression) hanging out in the gulf all week and we got a LOT of rain. It finally decided to leave us on Thursday and for the first time in the week we had sunshine!!
Want to wish my dear sister Judy a happy birthday today! I hope it is a great one. Also celebrating today is Helen's (Lisa) granddaughter Charlie she is 5 years old. She wanted a butterfly package (you know where you watch them hatch) but they don't sell them at this time of year to people that live in TX. Helen was very disappointed. Tomorrow, Lisa will celebrate her birthday. The best of birthday's to all of you!

My most exciting news happened last Sat. I cannot begin to tell you how pleased I was with the job those two men did on that tree. They got all the vines off it, plus pulled other vines off the fence. I had a stack of yard trash at the end of my drive way you could not believe. I was so grateful, it would have taken me forever to do that. They were great!

Saturday evening Dad and I went to the Olive Garden, he loves that place of course you know it is a family place.  I am so proud of him, if he can't eat all that he has he takes it home. I think I mentioned years ago he would have never done that.

Poor Lana her foot is still causing her problems but she took Dad to the wound center on Monday. Again she had a long wait, I can't figure that out for the life of me why she always has to wait so long.

My medical mobile was on its way to Orlando on Monday for Bill to see the dermatologist. We go a good report all seem to be healing well and he only had one spot on his face that needed treatment.

When the mail came on Monday we got the report about his coronary arteries. It seems the blockage had increase since his last test. I wondered at the time how long it would be before we would get an appointment with the specialist in Orlando. We we didn't have to wait long, they called on Wed., and wanted to see him yesterday. Now this is my story and I am sticking with it...I had an appointment to get a perm with Nancy (I thought at one) so when they said they could see him at 10 on Friday I jumped at it, because I knew I would be back in time for the appointment. The Dr. said at his age they would not do surgery but he was very concerned about his heart rate. It has been running anywhere from 27-40 and that is way low. He thinks he needs a pace maker, he called his Dr. at Viera and told him he needed to see him again. Needless to say Bill is very concerned about that. Anyway on with my story. I put my cell phone on to charge Thursday evening. Believe me I needed it, cause it was dead. I never thought any more about it after it charge I unplugged it and never looked to see if it was on, just thought he would be. So off we went to Orlando...about 11:15 Nancy started calling me and of course I didn't answer at home or on my cell! (cause it was off). She called several times, then she called Diana. Now I want to say that I had told Diana about the appointment on Wed. They were all worked up called Judy, Lana wondering if they knew where I was. We just got home about 11:35 and here comes this mail truck down the drive way and I can tell you She was very upset with me. What a day, but it all turned out ok.

Asked a friend at church what he thought was the best weed killer and he said Vinegar . So off I went to the dollar store and bought 5 gal of vinegar to spray on my vines. I got to say that it worked great on some things, I was quite pleased but there was only one vine that it killed the others liked it. So off to Home Depot I went and got some ground kill. That seems to be working. They have this big bottle of Professional Roundup for $169. that I would love to buy but I am not sure it would do any better than what I have.

I think Dad is getting tired of the watermellon, he isn't eating it so fast. I've decided to wait until he asked about it before I get him any more.
Very concerned about my Nancy, she has a spot that is bothering her on the same breast that she had her surgery. Like everything else she can get in to see her Dr. until the 10th of July.

While Lana & Shari were at Dad's they took this picture of him with their dog Koas...
as you can see with the smile on Dad's face he is happy...he loves dogs.

Joyce & Jeff are off this week-end meeting the training ship State of Maine back from it's 2 month journey at sea. I am sure they will have quite the adventure.

Remember this picture of Liz?
Photo: That's my girl.
Well the good news is her feet now look like this!
Photo: One ankle and one cankle, but MAN I'm lovin my TWO shoes;)
So there is some good news!

Bill & I spent 4 hours trying to put a new dryer vent on Thursday! I told him it needed to be larger but he said he asked and this one was universal. WOW what a hard time we had. To top it all off we had a racoon visit the bird feeder three times that day. I didn't think they came out in the day time but this one did. I worry about them coming when Cocoa is out there they are much bigger than she it.

Well I guess I have rambled on long enough, hope all is well with you and I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July!

Love your notes Sue, wish more people would drop me aline. Remember no one loves you as much as you do....take care!

Lot's of Love,
