What can you do to promote world peace? Go home and love your family.”   ― Mother Teresa

Good morning everyone, hope that you have had a wonderful two weeks like I have. First of all I would like to thank everyone that help make my vacation one of the best I have ever had. Especially, my sister Judy! She was my friend, my driver, my tech, and my Mom while I was away. Very special lady my dear sister Judy!!!

When I got home last night I was just sick, my big pots looked like there were no hope for the flowers.  Hopefully, with a little love and care I can bring them back.  The hanging pots that I put with my roses, that Bill watered when I told him look great.

Just before I left my cousin Jack posted these pictures of my Uncle Omar & Aunt Joyce on Facebook. I know that many of you are not on FB and did not see them. In the first picture is Jack with his Dad, the 2nd is Aunt Joyce & Uncle Omar, the last one is Aunt Joyce, cousin Elaine, Uncle Omar and Jack.

Not long after I arrived at Judy's & Greg's, he had catarac surgery on one eye.  After we returned there he went and played golf.  When asked how the golf was that day, he said "At least I can see where the ball goes in the wood's".

I have a lot to share with you and lot's of pictures, so this will be a two parter....
Miss Judy insisted that I get in touch with as many of the family as possible and see if we could meet with them a long the way. I hesitated a little but I am so glad I did. Our first stop was in CT, to see cousin Greg!
He has retired from teaching and is now a full time land lord. He has a beautiful home and the property is very nice. He does a lot of traveling, almost made me jealous hearing all the places he has been.

Then off to Salem, Ma where they say the witches are still brewing to visit my niece Jessica, her husband Casey and of course ELOISE!
My nephew Kyle & wife Erica rent the bottom part of the house and Jess & Casey the top. They hosted us twice during the trip and were very generous host. Elly is on quite a schedule and it a beautiful child!

After we left Salem, we headed for sister Helen's in Winslow, Maine.  They have a sandwich shop there that is out of this world, they have everything.  It is called Mr "G".  A half of sandwich is enough for two!  The food was great.  Poor Helen had just got out of the hospital after having a bout of Diverticulitis.  Lots of things going on in her life.
She has sold her beloved home there and will close on the 15th of Aug.  Right now she doesn't have a solid plans of what she is going to do, but eventfully she will be settling close to her son & family in NM.  We picked her up and headed for Joyce & Jeff's in Calais, Me.  She was with us but not feeling to perky.

Then off to sister Joyce's (one of the pictures we forgot to take, but here is another one of them at my Granddaughter's wedding)
Boy they were ready for us, the table was set and on each plate a big Maine Lobster
I think she put the biggest one on my plate.  It was great!  Poor Helen couldn't have it so she had to settle for something else.  Always feel most welcome when I go to visit them.  Love it there in Calais.

The next day Judy & I headed for Aroostook County and our birth place Ft. Fairfield, Me.
Along the way we seen fields and fields of potatoes in bloom, beautiful
(Sorry Pat & Dave, they will be almost ready to pick when you go to Maine)  I had forgotten just how beautiful they were and have consentrated on how hard it was to pick them.

Want to leave you with...Dad will turn 95 on the 31st, If you would like to drop him an e-mail wishing him the best the address is..rpwillett@bellsouth.net

Got a lot more to share with you next week, hope all is well and remember no one loves you as much as you do!  Take care

Lot's of Love,
a, aa ~g~
