"Friends are those rare people who ask how we are and then wait to hear the answer." - Ed Cunningham born August 17, 1969 in Washington, D.C.) is a former professionalAmerican football

Morning all, hope that you have had a great week. We have had lots of rain, which we need badly but just like anything else...we now need a few days break. I am sure we will be over run with mosquito's with all the ditches we have holding the water...got to complain about something right?

Would like to start off with wishing sister Joyce a happy birthday on the 10th, hope it is a great one....then on the 11th Helen granddaughter Jody will celebrate...think she and Joyce are about the same age...young!

Nothing too exciting happened this week, in fact I even thought about skipping "Just Chatting" this week...but here we go...

Dad & I had dinner at Olive Garden last Sat. It always amazes me when he takes left overs home. For years he wouldn't do it, but no he does.

Diana visited him on Sunday and he always looks forward to her visits.
She started that right after Mom died to bath Cisco and has continued every week.

Last Sunday they had the funeral for the young man that passed away. It was so sudden...he went to sleep and didn't wake up. I made my meatballs but just couldn't go to the funeral. My Mike died just two weeks after his 26 birthday and it brings back those memories.

On Monday, I hit the ground running early. Picked Dad up about 7:20 and off to Palm Bay Wound Center we went. All went well and the Dr. says his leg wound  looks just like it is suppose to. He gets another skin graph this coming Monday.

Then off to the Optical place we went to get his refund on his glasses. He ordered them In April and they still had not come in, so he canceled them and they were so accommodating that they gave him all his money back..he got his contacts for free.

Then we had lunch and then of to his GP. Lana said he needed a wheel chair because it is a good distance for him to walk. Of course he wasn't going to use one...but I stood my ground and we got that done.

On Tuesday, I was at the Retina Center for the shot in my eye. Always a fun experience, but so thankful they are saving my sight!

Poor Lana ended up with cellulitis in here leg after her vacation, she was in so much pain. They gave her med's but it didn't seem to be helping her. It turned out that not only did she have cellulitis but gout in her foot. She is finally doing better but of course the med's are making her stomach upset.

Was really looking forward to Thursday, it was my day off so to speak. Guess what? It rained most of the day but when it didn't I did get some work done in the yard. The vines are taking over the fence and I want to spay them, but can't while it is raining.

We are working on our plan for my class reunion...I have my plane reservations, and we have our hotel reservations and I have ordered the flowers for the graves stones...Time if flying by and I am really looking forward to the trip.

Both Dad and I are very disappointed that "I'll have another" will not be racing today in the Belmont, but I am sure not as much as his owner.  How sad to have won both those races and so close to the triple crown and to hurt himself.  He will never race again...so sad.  But that doesn't mean that Dad and I won't be in front of the TV today a 6:25 to watch the race.

Niece Liz is mending fine and to cheer up her spirits she has blinged her boot....
Now who says you can't have a fancy boot?

Don't know how many Bing Cherry trees Jack has but he got 30 qt's from one tree.

That is quite a job picking them, and now preserving them.  Good job!

Got a big birthday coming up next Sunday, won't mention who's but isn't she something...

Well I guess that is about it for this week, please let me hear from you and remember no one loves you like  you do!

Lot's of Love,
a, aa ~g~
