"You can't get to happily ever after without turning the page."

~Doug Kirchhofer  President of TN Smokies Baseball

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week. Gosh, we have been getting a lot of rain. In fact last Saturday evening I got take out for our meal because it was raining so hard. Not bad in the morning (other than the fact it is so humid) and it is the only time I can get some yard work done.  Got another tree to climb this week, this one is a maple the limbs are handing over the driveway and hitting the car.  Let's see if I get it done or procrastinate for another week.

Wanted to share this picture of Blair, he is the Chaplin of Fort Fairfield VFW. He is shown her with the commander (I think). He is the one on the right. Great picture don't you think?
Took Dad to the wound center on Monday, and they removed two bone chips from the back of his leg. I swear they were about the size of a tooth. The big sore on the top/side of his leg is healing nicely. But he still has one more graph on the 25th. The Dr. told Dad what he was doing but of course he didn't hear him (hearing aids would be great in a time like this don't you think?) On the way home he asked me what the Dr. was doing and I told him...no one told him.

Want to wish a very special 1st birthday to sweet Eloise tomorrow. Her grandparents will be there to help her celebrate!   Just incase you wondered she does have wonderful parents and here they are with the birthday girl.
I know that they are very proud of their little one...here she is alone

Then on the 18th, my oldest granddaughter will celebrate her birthday. Don't have a recent picture of her, but I hope it is the happiest one ever dear Stac!

Thanks goodness Lana is on the mend and feeling better.  She is back at work, and back to her old self.

As I mentioned last week, my sisters and I will be in the area on the 18th  of July and leaving after the parade on the 21st. Would hope that we can get together with some of the cousins for lunch while we are up there. It would be nice to meet with living people as well as visiting the dead.

Bill's daughter Dawn brought dinner to us last night for Father's Day. He was quite pleased, and so was I a meal I didn't have to get. Very thoughtful of her.

They are now scheduling Diana to work every other Sat.  Not too bad of a deal, one week she works six days and the next she works four.  The heat i s really bothering her this year I guess it is because she came on with a bang...didn't have time to get use to it.

Well I guess that is about it for this week.  Drop me a line and let me hear from you, would like to know what is going on with you and your family.

Take good care of yourself and remember no one loves you like you do.

Lot's of Love,
a, aa ~g~
