"God loves each of us as if there were only one of us". - St. Augustine

Good morning all, this has been a busy week for me as usual, how did it go for you? Had the morning off yesterday and got busy in my yard. Had hopes to attack, that Palm tree, but couldn't find the ladder. But I know where it is now, so after I send this that will be my first job! It has got to be done because it is blocking the view to the road.

Of course last Saturday was the Preakness so we had to go where we would get our meal quickly so we could be home to watch the race. So off to Applebee's we went had a very nice dinner and was back to watch the race. I'll Have Another is now 2 for three, If he wins the Belmont next month, it will be the first triple crown winner in 37 years.

Nothing too much to say about Sunday went to church and that was about it. Here I am saying I am so busy...

Things turned out well at the wound center...we got there at 10 minutes to 10 and they took us right in. Actually we were there less time than normal. His wound was running and they felt it was from him getting it wet when he takes a shower. So no shower for two weeks, Helen thinks she has the problem solved, so he is pleased with that. I tell you he has the highest tolerance for pain that any one I have ever seen. It hurts me when they scrap his wound but he doesn't even wince.

Just had to share this picture with you that David sent me...of course it was taken in Maine not far from where I am from

I know it is hard to see, but the Momma Moose is taking her baby across the road....don't seem like they are afraid of the traffic.

On Monday afternoon I had two cyst cut off my elbow. Got to tell you it wasn't fun and I made sure that he knew that I was not pain tolerant

There was an article in the paper about honoring WWII vets. It is free to the Vets, they fly them to Washington, take them to several monuments and return the same day. He had me look in to it, and he qualifies alright but I think it is just too much for him. But we are going to apply....

There was a full size mock up of the shuttle that was at the Press Site, yesterday they moved it and it is on it's way to Houston
They are mooing her on a barge and this picture was taken at the Port. Who said they wouldn't have a shuttle.....

Dad still does not have his glasses, he was hoping that they were in so we could go pick them up on Wed. But no luck, they are having a hard time getting frames for them. Believe me they are as tick at a water glass. So just chatting on Wed, we had a nice lunch and I was on my way home.

Helen didn't rent a car this time, so on Thursday I was her chauffeur to get her massage and her hair done. The good news is she felt better, and her hair looked very nice.

Helen's daughter Lisa is a Tech in a Vet nary Clinic. Last week she was bitten very badly by a dog that was brought in. She spent several days in the hospital and she is now chugging along...please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

This weekend Stacey & Paul are moving into their new home. Hopefully, soon I will have a picture to share with you. Diana has gone up to help them move.

Please keep Maureen in your prayers, she is a lady that goes to my church. She battled breast cancer and won. A couple years ago she lost her husband to cancer and this week she lost her only child. She certainly needs lots of prayers!

Yesterday was Baxley Manor Day, Lori , Jan & Sandra continue to do a wonderful job getting the most for the money we have. It seems the cupboard is always bare and thankfully we can fill it up every month!

Well I guess that is about it for this week, please take good care of yourself and remember no one loves you as much as you do!

Lot's of Love,
a, aa ~g~
