"First keep the peace within yourself, then you can also bring peace to others. "- Thomas a Kempis

Good Morning all, hope that you have had a good week. Last weekend we did get some much needed rain and the temp dropped for a few days but nothing to complain about.
Saturday evening Lana & Shari joined Dad and I at the Olive Garden. He got his favorite Lasagna Clasico, he loves it but couldn't eat it all. He took what he had left home for another meal. Which is always a surprise to me for a long time he wouldn't do that. It was a nice get to gather, although Lana lives close with her work schedule we don't get to see each other as often as we would like.

On Monday I took Dad to the wound center and all went well. The Dr. said that it was healing just as it should, so we were happy about that.

On Tuesday morning Diana an most of her family returned home from their vacation in Hawaii. The one think I loved about Diana's home is she has the most beautiful chime on her patio. I really enjoyed listening to it. Surprise she brought me home a wooden chime from Hawaii. It is very nice but not as nice as the one she has

Also on Tuesday, it was time for another shot in the eye! (Really look forward to that, not!) Really it isn't that bad but it is the waiting to get it that brings on the stress. It really wipes me out and I am really no good for anything the rest of the day.

Ok, since none of you are coming forth with you life's history...here is mine. My husband Clyde & I moved to Ohio from Maine. He was an electrical engineer. We lived in Galion, seven years. During that time both of our daughters Diana & Nancy were born. His division of the North Electric Company was sold to Radiation here in Melbourne, Fl. We moved here in 1964, I wasn't too happy about it at the time but grew to love it , still miss Maine but this is now my home. Clyde passed away from heart disease two weeks before his 36 birthday. I went to work at Radiation and met my husband Bill. He had six children but  only three were left at home, I went from a Mom of two to a Mom of five.  Dawn, was a year older than Diana, Mike, a year younger than Nancy and Patrick the youngest.
I became a very busy Mom then, with Band, baseball, football and soft ball, plus I was a GreyLady for three school. I guess all of that put me in the mod to volunteer for almost everything after that. I went back to school and got my degree while my youngest son was in High School. Thankfully I got picked up by NASA in 82 and worked there for 23 years. One of the biggest thrills of my job was working launch & landings. With all of them I worked all but three. In the 90's I volunteered for Make a Difference Day. I went to Baxley Manor. It made me so sad to see all of these elderly people living from day to day, that I started "begging" for them monthly, I am still involved with them. I retired and I am still involved with the County Zoning Board, and continued to work launch & landings. I also am on the vestry at my church. Not to leave out anything I have four beautiful grandchildren. Patrick is my daughter Dawn's only child. Diana & Dan has three Stacey (who got married to Paul a year ago) Krista, who is in College and Todd, who works for UPS. My Nancy has never married and does not have any children. Well, I am sure I left out something important but I think that is it. NOW it is your turn.

Stacey has called and asked me to put this little girl on my prayer list.  She is only five and has a brain tumor, her name is Ellie Szabados, and it doesn't look like she is going to make it.  Please add her to your prayer list!

Bill decided he would get his film that he has had in his camera for who knows how many years developed. All of a sudden it was important to have it done. I ran all over on Thursday trying to find someone that would develop it. As it turned out I will have to take it to Melbourne on one of my many trips if it is to be developed.

Gosh we have a fallen family, last week Helen fell & hurt her (what is called) her good knee and really brused it badly. Last night I got a note from Joyce telling me that Liz fell and broke her leg. They can't do anything for it until the swelling goes down. Love you Liz, so sorry for your pain!

Yesterday was Baxley day and thankfully the help is still coming in for them. As I mentioned before my friends Lori & Jan are fantastic shoppers they get the most out of the money they get!

Helen is getting ready to sell her house. Judy went up to help her get ready for a garage sale this weekend. Hope all goes well.

Stacey & Paul quallified for a home and they are very excited about it. Diana is going up today to spend the night and get a chance to see the new house.

Yesterday Enterprise took it piggy back journey to NY, I am sure it was something to see.

I guess that is it for this week, hope you have a great week, and remember no one loves you like you do!

Lot's of Love,
a, aa ~g~
