"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world." -- Albert Einstein
Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week! We had a few cooler days but for the most part Spring has spung here in Fl. Didn't get a chance to work in the yard this week, had too many things to do. But did cut some beautiful roses.
Want to start you off with a smile...Here is a pictures of the oldest & youngest in our family.....
Want to get the birthday's & anniversaries in before I start yacking. As I said last week, a very happy birthday to Chris Adams today! Also dear friend Kari is celebrating today, the best of birthdays Kari! Then on the 12th a very happy birthday to Jennifer Paige...21 Jenn? Also on the very same day a big Happy Anniversary to dear friend Bet & Donon the 12th. On the 13th, the best of birthday to nephew William. A very happy birthday to Stephanie on the 15th....39 Steph? Then a very happy Anniversary 21st anniversary to Dean & Jerri! The very best to all of you on your special day!
Last Saturday, we all had dinner at the Olive Garden. Eloise was the toast of the table. Wish I could say everyone enjoyed there meal but guess what? For the first time ever Dad's coffee was not hot! Even when they brought the 2nd one. I worry about stuff like that because we are down to two places to go to. We are looking for a new place for tonight, thought that he would go for that since Greg & Judy will be with us.
Speaking of the Marshall's they will be leaving on Sunday morning for home. It will be hard for Dad for a while, but Diana will be there in the afternoon to break some of that up. It has been wonderful having them but it is always hard when they leave. The next visit will be from Helen around the middle of May.
Monday evening I had my Planning & Zoning meeting in Veria. The developer wanted to change the zoning from 55 & over to just general. There must have been 300 people show up. Thank goodness it was the only item on the adgenda or we would have been there late. The zoning was turned down, which really surprised me because most of my board support business.
On Tuesday I went for my eye appointment. It was a happy time, my right eye is normal and dry. My left eye is dry and I have regained some of the sight that I had lost. Instead of going once a month it will now be every six weeks for awhile and then spread it out. I just pray they continue to do well.
On Wednesday, off to Dad's. We had a nice visit and went out to lunch with the Marshall's at the Neptune. It is a distance to go there but it gets Dad out.
Thursday, off to the VA in Orlando for Bill's skin Cancer treatment. He has another spot on his neck which will have to be surgically removed so we go back next month for that.
The very good news is that Nancy has been approved for Medicad. The sad news is she has to go for treatment until the 23rd of this month. It is starting to cause her pain. Please keep her in your prayers.
Well it is that time again to turn your clocks ahead an hour tonight....You know spring forward and fall back.
When I talk to Diana last night she was not feeling well. She never gets sick and it makes it hard on me, because I can't take a chance on getting what she has. Hope she feels a lot better today!
I guess it is time to go, I hope that you have a wonderful week and remember no one loves you like you do!
Lot's of Love,
