"You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, love like you'll never be hurt, sing like there's nobody listening, and live like it's heaven on earth."

-- William W. Purkey author b. 1929

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week. The weather here has been great, still no much need rain thou. Got some work done in the yard, but that broken limb in the front yard has me worried. It looks just like a stake hanging down. Got to get to that sooner than later.

Have not had a real exciting week, but I will rattle on in hopes to fill the page.

On Saturday, Dad and I had our dinner at the Olive Garden. We were quite lucky last month we had lots of coupon's and Dad likes that. But so far no coupon's this month. I am hoping to take him to a different place tonight, we will see how that goes. The nurse recommended a place and I hope we can try it....

On Monday, Bet & I went to the KSC Center Director's State of Kennedy Space Center. Although the talk was very upbeat, it all boiled down to the fact we won't be launching Astronauts into space until 2020, if then. The fact remains we are only getting 1% of the budget and there just isn't the money there. They are renting out buildings, in order to maintain them. To me the whole thing is very sad, although he said that this year they had over 600 people apply to be astronauts. (Maybe they are just looking for work.)

On Tuesday, my friend Karen (who keeps her horse one street over from me) called to see where the smoke was coming from. I couldn't see any smoke, so she checked out and said it was coming from the space center. This is what it looked like...
Found out shortly after that it was a controlled burn. It wasn't long before I could see it! They do that especially in the spring to cut down on the underbrush. I always hate it when the do it because most of the time it smokes us out. This time they really did it, the smoke was so bad in the industrial area they had to send everyone home the next day because of the fumes.

So how did Ground hog day effect you? According to the news we will have another 6 weeks of winter...here is what I say...

Had a nice visit with Dad on Wednesday, he loves to have company but hates for you to leave! He especially loves to have my priest come and visit. Don't know if he is just happy to have a man visit or because he is a priest. He decided he wanted a hamburger for lunch so off I went. I usually get him McDonald's but decided to try Sonic. I ordered fries for him but somehow got onion rings. He loved them, cleaned his plate.

Thanks so much for your notes on Nancy. She is hanging in there, very tired but still working. Don't know where I got it in my mind that she only had to have six treatments of radiation but it is everyday for six weeks, not including weekends.

As you can tell here that Eloise is going to be a shopper, here she is at the mall and you can tell she is happy.

Got good news this week, Stacey got a promotion and we are all excited about it for her.  Her new title Is Development Associate for Wolfson Children's Hospital.

Want to wish Blair & Gert a very happy Anniversary on the 7th.  May you have many more.

Well I guess I have rambled on enough, hope you have a really great week.  I   know Judy & Greg will start it off well anyway, they are visiting Eloise for the weekend.  Remember no one loves you like you do!

Lot's of Love,
a, aa ~g~
