"Change is created by those whose imaginations are bigger than their circumstances" - Unknown source

Good morning all, hope you had a great week! WOW got to say mine has been busy.

Saturday, Dad and I had dinner at the Olive Garden, and he even took home what he couldn't eat. Now some of you would think of course he would but for a long time he refused to do it. So when he does now it always surprises me.

On Sunday a dear friend at Church took three more names for Baxley. That left us with three to go and by Wednesday all 33 had been picked. Isn't that wonderful, I am so happy about that.

I am trying so hard to recycle, so I knew that our regular recycle box would not hold all the items I had from Thanksgiving. So I took a small garbage can and put on all sides RECYLE. The last time I did that I only put one sign on it, this time I put it on all sides. Because, the recycle guy didn't see the one sign last time. This time I had four...guess what? The regular trash man took it, and when the recycle guy got out to empty it, it was already empty! I guess the trash guy can't read!

Monday, Bill & I started out early for Orlando VA. He was in surgery over three hours and of course the waiting time was a lot longer than that. While I was waiting I got to meet some interesting people that help passed the time away. The Dr feels that they got it all and he even took a spot of his cheek that he has been bothered with over the years. So, that is good news.

Tuesday started off with my eye appointment. Not a happy time for me, because I learned I now have two bad eyes (wet) So now I will have to have shots in both eyes! Also on Tuesday we were all ready to go for Nancy appointment but they called and changed it to Wed. The Dr. had an emergency call.

On Wednesday I left early for my visit with Dad. Lana got him these shoes that are great for him, they grip the floor, but of course he doesn't like them. He keeps telling me he is going to try his old shoes again. Oh well he has to have something to complain about. We had a nice visit and I was off to Merritt Island. Diana had taken the day off so we could all go with Nancy to her appointment. We got right outside the building, when his office called! He had another emergency! I sure hope this means he is a very caring Dr., not that he is shutting her off ! She has managed to get some type of insurance but I am not sure how good it will be. The appointment was moved to Friday at 9:30.

On Thursday, NASA gave a thank you Christmas party for the volunteers. We had to be out there before 7:30 a.m. Of course the reason why was that they had it at a Delaware North faculty and they open for bus. at 11. So they had to get us in there, tell us how grateful they are for us, give us a few things and get us out of there. It was wonderful to see people that I have not seen in years, but I think another year I will pass it by.

Next week my several of my sisters will be traveling. We are really looking forward to Joyce's visit with Dad. She arrives on Tuesday. Lana & Shari will be off to Rochester on Wed., and Helen will leave for her month long trip to NM & TX. Hope everyone has a safe trip!

Nancy will have a lumpectomy next Thursday. Right now it looks hopeful but the Dr. said he won't know until he goes in. Please keep our Nancy in your prayers! We had hoped that the Brevard Health Alliance would help with some of the cost but they don't! So hopefully we will be able to get her some help from one of the cancer places.

As you can see I have been on the road everyday doing something. Next week looks about the same....Dr for Bill on Monday, shot in the eye on Tuesday, Dr for Bill on Wed...then Nancy.

I know this hasn't been a very cheerful note but I have got to think positive. Hope you have a great week!  Please take good care of yourself and remember "No one loves you like you do!"

Lot's of Love,
