"Everyone wants to be appreciated. So if you appreciate someone, don't keep it a secret!" Mary Kay Ash, founder of Mary Kay cosmetics.
Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week and have all your shopping done! Of course I don't but somehow before next Sat., I will I promise. How is the weather where you are? I know it is colder in NM than it is in Maine, and Helen has acquired a cold. Sorry about that Helen, hope you are better soon.
She is having a great time with Dean and his family and will soon be going to Lisa to spend Christmas. Want to share this picture with you of Dean's family.
Handsome group isn't they. Back row Dean & Jerri. Front row Son Garrett, daughter Zoe and Westley and his girl friend. Thank them all for bringing so much joy to sister Helen!
This picture I have been meaning to share for quite sometime. It is nephew Lee & his mom Nora. I know David is so proud of him, I feel sad that I don't know him.
It is a shame when we all live so far away and really don't get to know our family. Gosh the time goes fast, the last time I saw him he was a teenager.
Well Joyce's visit was short this time, but she brought a lot of joy to Dad, if nothing else the lobsters stole his heart! She returned to Maine on Wed.
Lana arrived back from Rochester, she really enjoyed her trip there and it certainly gave her a break from running for Dad. But Wednesday she hit the ground running again, Dad had a Dr. appointment and blood work. Plus on Thursday it was off grocery shopping for him. He now declares that grocery shopping is too much for him. I think he could do it if he would ride in those carts they have but he doesn't like them and says Lana does a great job shopping for him.
All seemed to be moving smoothly for Nancy until she got the pathology report from her Dr. It seems that they did not get all the cancer so she will have to have more surgery. She returned to work on Weds for 4 hours and back full time on Thursday. She is swollen and in pain but this is the busiest time of the year for her. We still have not been able to find some group that will help her but we keep trying. She is overwhelmed and is really down. She see's the Dr on Monday and she will find out then when her next surgery will be.
The horse I feed daily just loves the hay I got her. She talks to me when she see's me coming. Makes my day I tell you that. Of course Cocoa makes my day every time she chases a squirrel out of my bird feeder.
Bill's ear is healing fine so the Dr. says...it looks awful to me but he knows what he is doing. Back we go next Thursday for another Dr. visit.
I have decided not to make pies this Christmas. I have such a busy week and the only day I could do it would be next Sat. Saturday is the day I go to Dad's...something had to give so it is the pies. Got my butterball turkey, it is 25lbs. It takes a long time for them to defrost.
Hope you have a wonderful week, and remember no one loves you like you do!
Lot's of Love,
