Good Morning all, hope that you have had a great week! The weather here has been great, in the low 80's very pleasant. All would be fine if I could just keep Bill from closing all the windows because he is cold! We have gotten some rain in the last few days, not bad, just drizzle. I understand that it is snowing NE...
Did get some work done in the yard, hard to believe with all that rain we got how dry the plants are. One of the things I truly enjoy is sitting on my back porch and watching the hummingbirds. Gosh they are beautiful. I read somewhere that by Oct they would be gone from Fl but I guess the ones that feed here don't know that. Also took out my trusty power saw and cut some prom fronts this week. It is surpassing how little you have to do before your mussels start hurting.
Met Karen for lunch on Monday, wish I could say we solved the world's problems, but we certainly touched on them.
Want to wish Rand and friend Bet a very happy birthday on Tuesday! Hope you have a great day!
Dad has finally got clearing for his surgery. He says his leg doesn't bother him but I think it does. So please keep him in your prayers for his surgery on the 1st.
Took Bill on Thursday to the Orlando VA for minor surgery on his forehead. We go back next Wed., for test to insure he is alright for the surgery on his left ear. That surgery is scheduled for the 28th of Nov.
On Wednesday as I was on my way to Dad's I noticed "Sally" (the neighbor's horse) was lying down in the mud under a tree. Didn't think much about it then but when I came back she was still there. I was very concerned about her. I called her from my car window, she knows her name but she didn't move. So I came home got the carrots ready but was dreading going over there what if she didn't get up? Took the carrots to her and she was up and doing fine. I really worry about her she does not get the care she needs. She must be eaten up with all the mosquito's that are out there.
Have been very proud (I know you will say that isn't new) of Todd. He has been keeping the yard and pool up and is doing a great. Now the big problem is who is cooking. Dan loved to cook and he was the cook in the house. Diana makes great desserts, making them for the school projects etc. But Dan did all the meal cooking. Now I say they all need to learn how to cook...see how that goes.
Fr. Roberts from my church visited Dad yesterday. Dad always enjoys his visits...to bad his own priest wouldn't visit him.
Not too much new this week, next week it looks like I will pretty much be on the road everyday. Hope all goes well for you and remember no one loves you like you do! Let me hear from you
