"Do the best that you can do in every task, no matter how unimportant it may seem at the time. No one learns more about a problem than the person at the bottom" Sandra Day O'Connor (retired Supreme Court Judge) The week has been mostly uneventful for me...except for the fact that I finally got my computer fixed! YEAH! You go Shari, I am so happy to be able to read my mail on one computer! Saturday, Dad and I dined at the Longhorn, we were lucky we got a parking place quite close to the door. I tell you one thing I noticed there handicap entrances more since I have been taking Dad. He kind of thought he would like to try Red Lobster again but the one in Melbourne has about 15 steps straight up and the handicap ramp winds around half the building....to much for him. On Monday, I had my Local Planning Agency meeting in Vi era. It was about changes in the new modular home code. I drove 20 miles to the meeting and it lasted 9 minutes! Not complaining someone has to do it. Last weekend Judy & Greg went to visit Jess/Casey & Kyle/Erica but we all know they really went to see Eloise....here she is with her Grandmom Isn't she something! They returned home on Wed. She is a beautiful baby. Sister Joyce is back in session with House of Representatives in Maine. For some reason I thought they just had the one session a year that went from Jan-June, but that is not the case, Lots of work but she enjoys it. Helen spent last week end with Joyce & Jeff and they took wonderful care of her. Sunday evening she returned home and is now at home by herself recovering from her full knee replacement. She is kind of stuck at home, can't drive for another week or so, she is a little board. Get this thou her knee only hurts when she steps on her foot She also has bragging rights this week her daughter Stephanie and now a grandmother again, which makes Helen a "great" grandmother. Her is a picture of Mason, and he is smiling also I am so happy Dawn went on a cruise with Pat & Dave to Mexico. Bless her heart she works hard and gets very little down time as I mentioned last week. Pat's birthday was last Monday and they even had a cake to celebrate. But I especially like this picture of her and Pat, she is smiling and that is wonderful! I hope they had a wonderful time. Judy left me in charge of watching Dad's lawn grow so it wouldn't get as long as it was when she came. When I was down there last Sat., I thought it was fine, but when I went on Wed, it certainly needed mowing right away. I told Dad I was going to get someone to mow it but I didn't have to nephew William came over the next day and mowed it. Great job Will! I don't think there are any birthday's this week, but do know we have an Anniversary. Rik & Liz will celebrate their 23 on the 8th. Remember the wedding well, but most of all I remember Dan taking all kinds of pictures of snow, he had never seen it before! The very best to you both! Well I guess that is it for this week, hope you have a great one. Remember take good care of yourself, cause no one loves you like you do!
