"Thinking is easy; acting is difficult; and to put one's thoughts into action is the most difficult thing in the world." — Johann von Goethe: Was a German poet; novelist; and dramatist
Good morning all, hope that you have had a wonderful week! Although many people that live below me are having trouble with too much water, we live on a sand ridge and it dries out quickly so with no rain.
I have had to start watering again. Haven't seen much change in my roses but I sure hope there is soon.
Football is in full gear in NH and nephew Ian of course is a star. He is the one doing the tackle no. 13
On Saturday I went to Dad's as usual, we had a nice visit. Then Greg & Judy, Dad and I went to dinner at Olive Garden. Dad lives that place because the give him a craft of coffee and he doesn't have to ask.
Monday I had my monthly P&Z meeting in Vi era. The meeting actually lasted 15 minutes. I can see why people that travel a long distance would like to combine that meeting with the LPA, but don't think that is going to happen. One of the items was a man who had 3 1/2 acres and he wanted to change his zoning from Rural Residential to Agriculture. Not only was he present but so was his wife and seven children. Why did he want to change the zoning? He wanted to have 25 chickens. :)
Took Bill to the VA on Tuesday, and like I thought nothing happened! The Dr. was a ENT on loan from Orlando, and he agreed that the surgery needed to be done soon but he wasn't sure when the ENT at Vi era would be back but would recommend that Bill be one of the first to be seen. Why can't he do it in Orlando "There are 100,000 veterans in our area that needs to be seen and he is the only ENT! So now we wait!
Just had to add this picture of Eloise, she is growing so fast and is such a beautiful baby, we all know just how proud the whole family is of her!
You would never know that she is spoiled would you?
Want to wish a very happy anniversary to Greg & Judy tomorrow! They will celebrate 40 years together! On Monday Erica will celebrate her birthday, hope it is the best one yet! Happy Birthday Erica!
Speaking of Judy, she and Greg will leave on Monday, sad day for all of us especially Dad! Like Joyce she has been a busy bee both in the house and outside. She is leaving instructions for me to do bi-weekly or once a month. :) She has put chips down in the front flower bed, replanted items and put new rocks down. She has been a busy lady! We are all concerned how Dad will do when she leaves. Someone has been with him constantly since his fall. No let's see how he does alone, he says he can do it, but he really relies on Lana. I am just the stand by.
David sent me this picture...reminds me fall is on it's way, so sad I will not be going north this year...
Nephew Rand came in 10th in his 5 K run, I think that is fantastic, it hasn't been that long since he took up the sport! Good going Rand!
Hope that you have a wonderful week, if you watch TV you will be getting all new shows...something different. Have not heard from many of you for a while...would love to hear from you. Take good care of yourself and remember no one loves you like you do!
Lots of Love
a "aa" ~g~
