Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things only hoped for. - Epicurus (341 BC - 270 BC)

Good morning all, hope that you have had a better week than I have had.   It started off great, but quickly went down hill.   I have been under the weather so not too much news this week.

Went to the Deanery meeting in Palm Bay with Fr. Roberts last Saturday.  Got to say it was very interesting, we broke up into teams of five or so and we had nine questions to answer about the things that we would like to see in a new Bishop.   Maybe it was just me but all the questions seem to be steering us in one direction.  They way they have set it up it would be impossible for someone that does not live in our Dioceses to qualify.  Anyway it is part of the process, hopefully it is not a done deal for someone, still want to believe in the process.

We are all quite proud of sister Joyce but it seems we are not the only ones, she has been nominated by a member of her state legislative leadership for the 2011 Emerging Leaders Program to be held this summer.  It isn't a done deal but what an honor only 50 legislator's from access the country will be selected!

We are getting down to the wire...next week Jess Baby shower in MA, leaving on Thursday for Judy's.  We are all so excited about a new life coming into the family!

By the 19th most of the Willett clan will be in Florida!  All excited about this one.  Felt so bad, Joyce was planning a little get away for her and Jeff at Disney's Animal Kingdom but the cost was $400 a night so that was out!  I will arrive back in Florida on the 19th also about midnight.  Will meet Helen at the airport, she arrives about an hour earlier than I do.  Liz & Rik and family have a place on the beach, Not sure where Rand, Melissa & Jacob are staying but we will all converge to Jacksonville around the 21st for Stacey & Paul's wedding.  A happy occasion for all of us.

Dad and I had dinner at Longhorn last Sat, he was quite surprised it was not as dark as usual.  But as always the food was great and we enjoyed it.

Want to thank everyone for all their cards and e-mail good wishes for my birthday.  I think my first 37th was better than this one, I was so sick and went to the Dr. that day.  I have been on med's, but they just don't seem to be doing the job.  But I am working on it...

I am very proud to say my son Patrick was given the Employee of the Year Award!  Not week, or month...but year!  Congratulations again Pat!

So have you been watching Dancing with the Star's?  Dad's favorite, how do you think that is going?  Then there is American Idol, got a favorite?

Well I told you this would be short and just wanted to let you know that this will  be the last Just Chatting  for a couple of weeks...(next week the baby shower in MA, then the next week my Stacey's wedding) got lots of things going on!
Please take good care of yourself and let me hear from you and remember no one loves you like you do!

Lots of Love
