March 5, 2011

Good morning all, hope you have had a great week.  Know it hasn't been for some.  My poor cousin Gloria was hijacked on her computer and notes were sent out to everyone in her address books saying that she was in England and everything had been stolen and she needed money right away!  I felt so bad for her, every once in a while I have had that prescription company in Canada send out mail supposedly for me.  I now do a complete scan everyday to try to insure that it won't happen again.  But with poor Gloria they were asking for money, didn't realize how poor this family was and if it were true she might just be stuck there

Last Saturday, I attend the bridal shower for my granddaughter Stacey.  Diana worked so hard to make it a success.  It is a shame, don't think we all appreciate our Mom until sometimes it is too late.  Not to say Stacey didn't appreciate it, just a comment, know I didn't really appreciate my Mon until she was gone.   Anyway it was a wonderful party and my family came thru in living color!  Aunt Judy came in with nine large wrapped packages, Stacey knew right away they were from the "Sister Network" !   Stacey was shocked at all the wonderful things that she received.  Had hoped to put some pictures in today's just chatting so you could see them but Paul's Mom took them and was not able to send them this week.  Maybe next week.

On Sunday we had some excitement, Joyce was on her way back to Augusta when a deer ran out in front of her.  It hit the front of her car and rolled over the top.  From what I hear she is fine, but the deer and the car was totaled.

On Monday I had a meeting in Orlando, (hate the city) and of course it was right in downtown Orlando.  Thank goodness I trusted my GPS or I would have been lost forever over there.  Meeting went well and debated that maybe I could take some of the side streets and knock off some of the tolls but my good judgement got the better of me and I followed the GPS home.

Brother-in-law Greg arrived on Sunday and has managed to get some golfing in.  On Thursday he mowed and edged Dad's lawn.  I tell you when people come to visit Dad they have to work!   But time flies by so quickley it seem he and Judy just got here and they are heading home today.  Will stop and visit his sister in NC and then on home.  Will miss them!

Good news the racoon that has been lving in Diana & Dan's attac has been caught!  It has been up there a couple of months.  In the beginning they had hope that they could close the hole  up when it was outside but they are night animals so it was not possible.  They hired someone to catch it and they didn't have an easy time either, it has been about two weeks that the traps have been out.  The bad news is that she is a she...and has had babies up there.  Now they have to get them out.

Next week looks like a very busy one for me, I have a P&Z meeting, two Dr. visits for Bill,  landing of Discovery on Wed, as well as a visit to Dad's, .  How did I do this and work     This last Thursday I took Bill to his Dermatologist at the Orlando VA.  The bad news is the biopsy came back positive in his ear.  So they will set up an appointment for the surgeon to look at it.  Not sure how long it will be before we hear from them.  His surgery for the gangling cysts are now set for the 24th of March.

Also on Thursday Judy and I went and had one of those wonderful facials at LaBella.  I love to go and would go more often but it is expensive so I save it for when my sisters come.

Many of you I send launch envelopes to, this week you will be getting another one, explanation is inside.

We have had a bad wild fire in Northern Brevard for the past week.  It has burned acres and acres.  I-95 has been closed several times because of it.  It is very dry here and we certainly need the rain that we got yesterday.

Last night I had dinner with that "old gang of mine" from NASA.  It had been a long time since we had gotten together and it was so nice to see them all.

Well that is about it for this week, let me hear from you and remember take good care of yourself, cause no one loves you like you do!

Lots of Love
