Good morning all, hope you have had a great week! It has been quite busy for me, with no yard work done. The weather here has been perfect, not to hot just comfortable.
Last Saturday evening Dad and I had dinner at Longhorn. Gosh it was busy we had quite a wait. In a way it was good because Judy was on her way here and if he wasn't occupied with something else he would have been worrying. Anyway as it worked out they arrived here while we were still had the Longhorn. Kyle came in and it really surprised Dad cause he did not know he was coming. Dad was so pleased! I believe I mentioned that Judy had done something to her back and she had planned to sleep on the couch, but with her back that way she decided to stay with me for a few days.
Dad (we) had several project that he needed done in the yard and it was just too much for us, so Kyle took on those projects. He cut down at least four trees, as well as doing a lot of trimming. What a wonderful job he did...just to give you an idea...this is for yard waste pickup...

On Monday Shari & Lana came up to see if they could fix my monitor. A friend had told me if it was a View Sonic I should bury it in the back yard as I told you last week. Then my friend Karen confirm that was true. But Shari tried anyway, we ended up ordering a new one. It came within 24 hours but I didn't get it put together until yesterday. Then it wouldn't work for me. Judy came and was here five minutes and had it going. I had not put the plug in tight enough.
Bet and I worked every day this week for launch, it was very busy on the day of launch, there were thousands of people here and after launch the roads were packed. In case you didn't see it or have not seen a picture of it...Discovery's last launch

The Episcopal Bishop for Central Florida is going to retire. I got to say he may be a nice enough man but I don't agree with his thinking. So in the fall we will be electing a new Bishop. Don't know if he will be much better but I am thrilled that I have been chosen from my church to vote for the new Bishop.
Well today is the Bridal Shower for Stacey at her Aunt Peggy's. Diana & Judy worked their butts of yesterday getting ready for it. My job was to make a ice mold for the punch. So Wednesday I borrowed a couple of bunt pans from Bet and made the first molds. Bet suggested that I use fruit juice because it would add to the punch. Got Strawberries, blueberries and oranges...Lots of fruit in there but when it froze you couldn't see the fruit. So off I went early yesterday morning and at Bet suggestion I got 7'UP...this time it looks like it will be fine...but I will never know until I un-mold them today.
Want to wish a very Happy Birthday to grandson Patrick on March 4th! Hope you have a great day!
Guess that is about it for this week, please let me hear from you. Take good care of you cause no one loves you like you do!
Lots of Love
