Good morning all, what a week this has been, busy running around and hardly noticing what I have done. Hope that you have had a great week...at least I don't think there has been any snow this week. For us the weather has been warm for a few days, then rain (not much) then the cooler weather for us anyway.
On Saturday evening Dad and I tried a new restaurant in Viera. It is called Mimi Cafe'. It is just a couple of door down from Longhorn's Steak house. It is a very nice place and the food was good. Dad liked it so we will try it again.
On Sunday Diana and I went to the movies (it was one of my gift from her for Christmas) We seen No Strings attached. It was a cute movie and I liked it. Afterwards we went to Chili's for dinner also part of my gift We decided that Super Bowl Sunday is a great day to go anywhere...everyone is home. There is no line, no waiting..it was great!
On Monday evening I had my Planning & Zoning Board meeting in Viera. I am sure you are all familiar with cell towers. We have many here in Brevard County but Verizon was asking for a two hundred foot tower in Viera. The only thing I could find good about it, is the fact that it will be a flag pole...and yes the flag will fly. Hate those thing but at least this one will look better than most.
On Wednesday, Lana took her four test on her quest to become a nurse. She is half way there and is doing great. She hates test and so do I, I may know the answers until you tell me it's a test and then I freeze. This time she took her test in Melbourne where she lives and that was great beside the fact she had a noise going on in the room and had a hard time concentrating. So on her next test she will go back to Orlando where they have a quiet room while she takes the test. Proud of her, she is doing great!
Also visited with Dad on Wednesday, we had a nice lunch and visited for awhile.
They are coming right along with the bridge, and it is rumored that it will be done before the 16th.
We are all looking forward to Judy's & Lilly visit. She should be here next Sat.
Want to wish my nephew Robert a very happy birthday today as well as my husband who is now 83! The best of Birthday's to you both! Then the girl (Krista) who is not going to get any older but still celebrate her birthday has a birthday on Thursday! The best of birthday's to you sweet girl!.
Well Bet and I have been given our assignment for launch. When the note came out for volunteers it stated that no federal workers should volunteer for Monday because it is a holiday and they don't have the $$$ to pay them... Right now it looks like it is a go for the 24th at 4:50 pm. When we canceled last time I froze my meatballs...so lets see how that comes out.
Stocked up on carrots for the horse yesterday....love that horse and hate to see him there all by himself.
Well there isn't much new, try to get out in the yard when I can but am really being careful not to get another cold.
HOpe you have a great week, and be good to yourself, cause no one loves you like you do!
Lots of Love
