Good morning all, hope that this has been a great week for you. Some of us it wasn't so great () both Dan & Diana went back to work, Joyce started her new job in the House of Representatives in Maine...plus, Jess & Cassey got the news that they will have a girl in about five months. Just a few things that happen this week. Me, I think I am finally on my way to getting healthy again. It has taken a long time but this time I think I am going to make it.
The weather here has been mixed, some very nice days and then some cold ones. I sit on my back porch looking out at my yard and it makes me sick sometimes. I know a lot of the plants will come back but they sure look pitiful now. On the porch I had two beautiful poinsettia, the key word is had on that one. The wind knocked them to the floor several times, I did replant them but they still look awful. My orchid looks like the cold got it, I covered it but I guess that was not enough. About the only thing that looks like they survived so far are my Christmas cactus. They are all in full bloom and look great. I have got to get my roses cut back and the new one planted. Hopefully I can get to that next week.
Wanted to start right off by sharing this picture that Helen sent me of her daughter Lisa and her granddaughter Charlie.

Dad and I had our dinner on Sat. at the Olive Garden. On Wednesday I took him to the bank and we had lunch at Beef O' Brady's in Melbourne. Got to tell you this, I have never heard of it happening before. Dad asked if she could warm his coffee. She literally took his cup and heated it again...when she brought it back I told her he wanted more coffee. She said she would have to get another cup they only brewed one cup at a time...ever heard of that one?
Lana is busy studding for her next exam, life is not always calm and she has a lot of stress. Please keep her in your prayers.
Todd is done with his job at UPS. He couldn't work those hours and go to school full time, so he is looking for another job. He really misses the fact he didn't chose a college where he could have continued his football. He told me at Christmas the school he checked out in PA was nice but too darn cold up there. It is hard when you just can't pick a goal for yourself, but I am sure he will. Of course he does have a goal...to make lots of money...but that will come much later.
Dan was not back to work a full week when he got a virus, not good for him.
there seems to a lot of people sick this time of year, hope everyone got there flue shot. The thing with that is you don't know if it is there right strain until everyone starts to get sick. It certainly isn't good that Dan has it, please continue to keep him in your prayers.
About the only exciting news that I have is my cleaning lady came on Monday and saw that my tree was still up and said "that has got to come down today!" Believe me I was so grateful to her, one, two, three it was down and everything put away. Each year I keep saying this is the last time...but who knows.
We as you can see there isn't a lot to say this week. Other than going to Dad's and the grocery store I have pretty much have stuck around the house. Hopefully you have something exciting going on in your life and you will share it with us.
Please take good care of you, cause no one loves you like you do.
Lots of Love
