Got lots of tid bits to share...brother-in-law David sent me a great picture of nephew Lee and his wife Jennifer.
What a handsome couple...sad to say I have not seen him since he was a young boy. Sad about that. They live in NC.....
As I mentioned last week Lana has another test behind her and we are all so proud of her. She has five more subjects and two clinical exams before she is through. I can promise you this there will be a big celebration when she is done! Got lots of faith in her and know she will do it!
Then there is Maine State Legislator Joyce Maker, what a big day the 1st of December was for her! We are all so proud of her and she was busting with pride when her whole immediate family was at her swearing in.
Love her lots and I know she will do well and make a difference in what she does. But hope she stays the same "Our Joyce" and isn't damaged too much in this new endeavor.
Two weeks ago I told you about the "Forbes" good news, Judy is walking on air that she is going to be a Grand mom...Then I got the news that Helen's granddaughter April is also expecting this summer. I know Stephanie is very pleased about that, it is wonderful to be a Grandmother...I have truly enjoyed it! Talking about the Marshall's at Thanksgiving with all the family home they had a family fun day.....

In the Warming Hut at The Grounds for Sculpture. So neat- I will totally go back when it is warmer! ;) http://www.groundsforsculpture.org/ Although it looks like some of them are having more fun than others
This may sound like an old story but the spot light on the barn went out again. Thankfully I was prepared and when the handy man came to do something else for Bill, he put in the new spot light that I had just in case it went out again...well guess what? When it got dark it didn't come on so there is something wrong with the fixture. I can't stand for that big back yard not have lights on it so off I went to one of favorite stores...Home Depot and got two temporary outside light until we can get that one fixed. I was so proud of myself and Bill was sure it wasn't going to work but guess what it did so that is a good thing. Then of course Bill took the credit and said he was glad he thought of it.
My Stacey is walking the line, biting at the bit you may say her Paul should be home from Kuwait this week. She has done very well, but the closer it comes the more impatient she has become. We all thank the Good Lord that he will be home safe, and he will be home for awhile. Thank you all for your prayers.
My "Baxley Gang" has done well this year, we were able to get gifts for all. There are so many old people that are all alone at this time of year and they only have sad thoughts. So look around I am sure there is someone that you can help make Christmas a Joyful Noise for them. It is wonderful help the children but check on the old also.
So here I go again...who do you tip at Christmas time? The mail man (I hope), the paper guy, the bug man? I have an appointment this week to get a facial...now I don't do this very often, just when one of my sisters come. Is $20 a good tip for everyone that gives you service at Christmas time? Let me know would like to hear your opinion.
We are all excited, Jeff & Joyce arrive on Monday we are really looking forward to their visit. Dad is already making a list for Jeff....you know things that Lana and I can't do. I swear they are bringing the cold weather with them, from my weather report says that the high here on Monday will be 45.
Tell you someone else is excited, Helen is off to TX to visit her daughter Lisa and that very special someone granddaughter Charlie. She leaves on Wed, and I know she will have a great time...
Dad has a new show he is all excited about, it is called Sing Off on NBC. It comes on Monday and Wednesday. It is hard for him to find something he enjoys so I am always happy when he does.
I am so proud of Todd (of course you knew that) he has a (temporary, maybe not) job at UPS. He has to go to work at 2:30-3:00 am and he is doing it on his own. I know that is a hard shift for a young man 21 he is missing all the good stuff at this time of year but he is doing it!
Tomorrow, Bet and I are off to see Patrick's Christmas chorus. It is being held I believe at Rollin's college. It will be a busy day, fix drinks, go to Church and then off to Orlando to be there by 12. Wish I could say I was really looking forward to it, I am sure it will be wonderful but I am getting to be an old fogy in my old age.
Well I told you I would make up for last week and it sure looks like I have. Hope all goes well for you this week and remember please take good care of yourself, cause no one loves you like you do.
Lots of Love
