Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week! How is the weather where you are, I know here in Florida it is very hot hard to work out side in it . If sweating makes you thinner…I am going to lose a lot of weight! J Again this week has been very uneventful and I really don't have much new news….but I will ramble on to fill the page………..
Last Saturday, Dad and I had dinner at Shell’s in Melbourne. The food was very good and I highly recommend it.
Melbourne is going to the large trash cans and it is not possible for Dad to push those carts. Judy has arranged for them to come to the back of his house to pick them up. It may be money saving for the city but I am sure there will be many on his street that won't be able to handle those big carts.
Judy and Diana took the scenic route here from N. C. They ran into a lot of rain and that also slowed them down. Saturday evening they spent in Savannah……they spent quite some time finding a hotel that would take dogs. Can you believe Judy had to pay $75 for Lilly? WOW, I told her I hope she didn't pick up any messes at that price they can pick them up themselves. J But they wanted to see historic Savannah, I asked if they got to see Sherman for what they had to pay…
Monday evening I had my Local Planning Agency meeting in Vi era. It also proved to be exciting and a item was tabled because we had not gotten the information in time. So they will meet again this coming Monday, I will not be able to attend, so I will miss all the fun.
Joyce has been a councilor this week at a teen camp, she said she was really looking forward to it, hope it worked out that way. Here is another picture of her and Liz on the day of the parade.

Sad news, Todd lost his new job! It wasn't anything he did, it seems a couple of the guys were supposed to go away to school and they changed their minds…so he is looking again for a new job.
Birthdays, first of all want to wish nephew Dean a very happy Birthday on the 24th, Hope it is a great one. Also, my friend Karen’s husband Michael will celebrate on the same day….that was a good day both are very special people. Then on the 26th I would like to wish the best to Gloria & Don on their 38th wedding anniversary. The best is yet to come!
The other day I worked at killing the vines, took a break and cleaned my power saw. Said to Bill at the time, you know I just love this saw and I have certainly gotten my money’s worth out of it. Went back out and started again when the chain slipped off the saw. Don't know how that happen but I am pretty sure that is what happen but I have no idea of how to fix it do you? It is kind of like my computer, I love it when it is working but if it gives me trouble I have no idea of how to fix it. Ten, 20 years ago I would have asked Bill but hate to have him touch anything now, it is just too much for him. I am just sick about it and because of it I am now at a stand still with those vines. I have no idea where I could take it locally...I am again in a mess...
Took Bill to the VA on Thursday, and of course he has an infection in that ear. He had never gotten the anti bootlicks that the Dr. gave him a prescription for and the Dr. was upset with him. We did get the med's and back we go next Thursday, hopefully it will be looking better then.
Judy and I went to be beautified on Thursday, worked for her. Always love getting a facial, I feel so refreshed afterward, I certainly would go more often but the cost prohibits that.
Well, just one more week and I will be off on my adventure. Riding back to NJ with Judy, will vacation there for a week, then off to Maine for the big wedding. I am really looking forward to getting away for awhile, just hope all goes well here at home while I am gone.
I guess that is about it for this week, remember take good care of yourself, cause no one love you like you do. By the way it would be nice to hear from some of you once in awhile.......
Lots of Love
