June 5, 2010

Good morning all, what a week this has been!  Actually got some real work done in the yard.  Of course it is never finished but I keep working on it.  Stacey came over one night and she doesn't know why my desk top will not recognize my camera either so we tried with my lap top and here are the pictures I promised you....

Of course they are all gone now but they were beautiful!  Here is the picture of my orchid...surprising me it still looks beautiful, so maybe there is hope for it.

You can also see my tomato plants that seem to be doing quite well, got lots of tomato's on them.  I had gotten 10 bags of much for Todd to put in a few places and I guess it is a good thing he didn't get them down, because I found a few more places that I wanted to put it.  So now I will have to get ten more bags.

Last Saturday Dad and I tried a new (old place we had been there years ago)  He was too sure if he wanted to try it or not because when we went a couple of years ago it was one of those places you eat your peanuts and throw the shells on the floor and it was quite nosey.  But now no peanuts and it was a very nice place.  Dad said it was very clean and there was a lot of senior citizens there  I didn't see that many but it is called Shell's.  The food was very good but I didn't look at the side dishes very closely and of course he got broccoli and he won't eat that!  I got it also and loved it!  This week it will most likely be Applebee's because it is the last race of the  Triple Crown, can"t miss that!

The good news is I did my coumidin test and got it right this week, thank goodness!  So now I will wait two weeks before I do it again and if that works out I will be back to monthly!

Bill's com presser died this week, right when Sears had a sale on them.  Isn't that convenient?  The one he had is quite big (heavy) so now I have to figure out how to hook it to the golf cart and get it out to the road.  I know it will be gone very soon.  Reminds me of when I got the new microwave and how much trouble I had getting it off the counter onto a rolling chair, out the door and into the wheel barrel.  Let me tell you it wasn't easy.  When I got back into the house I looked out the front window and it was gone already.  It took them less time to load it into there vehicle than it took me to do all that.  So now I have to master this problem

Diana is healing but has found out that he is allergic to bandage, but she is healing well.  Stacey is still putting applications in several places, she would like to get a job somewhere near Jacksonville, but she is certainly on countdown on her job.  Krista has a new car, her old one was totaled.  Todd is finished school for the summer, he working back at the car wash in Merritt Island and living in Orlando but staying and eating lots at home.

Well next week is the primary in Maine and I want to wish Joyce all the luck in the world, know she will win!  Very proud of her so many people talk a good talk and do nothing but not our Joyce!

Want to wish my dear friend Sandra a very happy birthday on Monday!  The best wishes go to sister Joyce on the 10th, and Jody on the 11th.  The best of birthday's to all!

Cousin Blair sent me this golfing picture that was taken in my home town.  Don't know if I mentioned this before but the golf course in partly in Canada and the other in Maine.  Wonder if they have to show their passport when the hit the holes in Canada?

This photo was taken @ the annual Fort Fairfield Tigers booster club benefit golf tourney.  This is VFW Post 6187's team.  From L - R:  Brian Ross, Blair Adams,(cousin) Larry Boaz, (Letty's husband) Phil Wasson (Cora's cousin), and caddies Perry Dean and Larry Libby.  They came in 2nd low net and a good time was had by all.  (and of course the Fort's beauty queens)

My daughters called and invited me to go to the movies yesterday.  Of course I jumped at the chance to spent time with them.  We seen Killer's and got to say I really enjoyed it and the time spent with them.

Well I guess I have just rambled on enough, remember please take good care of you!  Safe trip home Judy & Greg~

Lots of Love
