February 20, 2010

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week.  The weather here has been a little cool for Florida but all and all I can't complain.  My plants have become traveling plants in and out of the garage.  I see a lot of people putting new plants in but hate to start just yet until I know that we will not have frost.

Last Saturday I really forgot about valentines day when we went out to eat.  Every where we went was packed with at least an hour waiting time, and I am sure you know Dad does not like to wait.  So we ended at Applebee's although we still had a 20 minute wait.  We had that happen one other time and I can't remember if it was Valentine's Day or not but will keep that in mind for next year.

The good news is Bill's son David is not dead, thank the Lord!  But he is a very sick man, he has leukemia.   So please keep him in your prayers.

On Monday Karen and I met to save the world but some reason it didn't work.  We did have a nice lunch and I always enjoy her company.

Sister Judy & Greg had quite a trip to NC.  They even discovered a town with there name...

Although it did snow while they were there and the day they left it was 17 and snowing, they came back to the real stuff

Well have you ever heard of anyone turning their car back in on the Lemon Law?  Well you now you have!!  I have got to say I have driven a Cadillac since the early 80's and have never had any real problems with them.  I have always loved my car but this one there is something really wrong with it and I gave up on it.  So we are now in the process of getting another one through the Lemon Law.  Will keep you up on that one.

Dad is still having problem with his computer, not sure if it is the computer or the one operating it  He keeps deleting stuff and working on it, oh well it keeps him busy.  Fr. Roberts went to visit him on Thursday and he was pleased with the visit.  He is scheduled for surgery on his burnt leg on the 25th.  For some reason bone chips keep coming thru the skin where he had the skin grafts.  The Dr. admitted he had never seen anything like it before.

Got such a laugh out of my friend her Dad is 100 and is going strong but she has some good tails to tell about him, she can match anything I have that is for sure.  His latest is he vomited in the toilet and lost his teeth.  You just can't match that!

Would like to wish Westley a very happy 17th Birthday on Tuesday, hope it is all that you expect!  Then on the 25th Chris & Lynn will celebrate their 23 anniversary.  Best wishes to you both!!

Yesterday we did Baxley Manor and thankfully we are staying on top of it with donations.  Thank the good Lord for those blessings.

Sunday at 10:16 pm the Shuttle will land here at KSC if the good Lord is willing.  Both Bet and I will go to work at 6 pm and work until an hour after landing.  See how much money we are saving the taxpayers

Well I guess that is it for this week, please take good care of you and let me hear from you!
Lots of Love
