January 9, 2010

Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week!  Got to say it has been cold in Florida, may not as cold as where you are but believe me we are not use to it.  It looks like I have lost most of my plants and you may not believe this but they say it may snow here today.  You see my sister Helen is on her way here from Maine...she may be bringing it with here  Excited about her visit but she won't be wearing shorts for awhile I hear.

Got to say there is not a lot of news this week, it has been rather quiet.

Dad and I went to Olive Garden for dinner on Saturday...he likes to go there.  But I am sure if you asked him he would say it was I.

You know my niece Lisa said that a lot of the med's that the Vet's have quite a mark up and I truly believe her.  I have picked up med's for Cisco three different times and only got a six day supply.  Dad order it on line (a thirty day supply) and got it for $40 When I picked up the med's each time it was almost that much.  Guess they can really make some money on some of that stuff.

Most people that I heard from missed the New Year come in except  Sue, not only did she see it comes it, she stayed up until 4.  WOW I just can't do that any more.  The first time I wake up is at 4

On Monday, Karen and I had lunch at Sonny's BBQ.  Again we solved a lot of problems but I haven't noticed any big changes in the world since we met.
We have a big item coming up for a vote it is called Hometown Democracy.  As I told her it scares me...but I won't go into that now.

On Wednesday I went to Dad's.  He is very busy trying to fix his computer.  He cannot use the keyboard and it has him very flustered.  But he keep trying.

Thursday, I met Bet for lunch and to tell you the truth we just talked about people I was all worn out from solving problem on Monday  She and her husband are taking their new travel rig and heading for Sebastian this week end.  They love to camp but you can't really say they are ruffling it!

Just learned from Face book that "great" nephew Alex's group from Milford High School won the state "We the people"....now it is on to nationals!

Really looking forward to Helen & Dean's arrival.  I have not seen him in quite some time.  He is the one that I have asked your prayers for that has  Macular Degeneration.

Lana took Dad for his check up yesterday and he was truly hoping he would be able to quit taking that awful liquid medicine he takes for his high ammonia level in his liver.  But after a talk with his Dr. he has learned he has to take it, not too happy about that!  Plus, the Dr. said he still couldn't drive......

I hope that you all keeping warm it has been quite sometime since we have had a cold snap that has lasted as long as this one has.  We "Southerner" are just not use to temperatures below 60.

Please take good care of you first of all and let me hear from you.

Lots of Love
a (aa) ~g~
