Good morning all, hope that you have had a nice week. Got to say that we have gotten the rain we asked for an more. Got some new plants to start replacing some of the ones that died while I was gone on my trip. I use those hanging baskets with the coco liner and sometimes I think it would almost be cheaper to get new baskets. The one thing that I am ready for is some sun shine, we have had a lot of rain, and it doesn't give me much time to work in the yard. Got so much to do out there! I also have an ant pile right next to my potting area and you can't spray it while it is wet.
Last week on my visit to Dad's we all went to Outback for dinner including Lana & Shari. It was great! All sitting around a round table...just like in the movies.
On Sunday Jeff & Joyce started their trip back home to Maine. They only go so far everyday and on the third day they made it to Judy's in NJ. Weather wasn't going very well for them so they decided to stay another day. On Thursday they made it to Augusta where Jeff had a meeting on Friday. I know it is always good when you get back home but we certainly miss them!
On Monday evening I attended my P&Z meeting in Vi era.....tell you what development doesn't seem to be having a hard time with money. We had two of them, plus a Big Cat rescue that they hope to put in North Brevard. The sad thing is this is a non profit group and they have already purchased the land it may turns out it all maybe scrub jay habit and they will not be able to put anything there! Tell you the truth they had looked a piece of property not far from where I live and I am not to excited about having lions and tigers in my back yard so I really hope it works out for them.
After that I attended my Federally Employed Woman's Christmas party. Great turnout I believe there was about 30 some women there and a great time was had by all.
Tuesday I had my annual GYN visit at 8:15, tell you what I like to make those visits early so I can have the rest of the day to do something else but this week I really over did it, and it certainly didn't work out that way. Had test at the hospital on Wed at 8:15 and on Thursday I had blood work at 9. Busy week and really didn't get much done. All came out well but it sure ruined my week
Today is the big day for Diana, she is going to see Blake Sheldon. I am so pleased that she is doing this for herself, she is so busy doing for others I think she forgets to do for her.
Just learned on Face book that my "great" nephew Alex's team won the regional's in "We the People...I am assuming that it is the debate team
Alex is the third one over or the handsome boy with half of a grin For some reason the boys in our family just can't smile....Congratulations Team!
Wednesday Dad and I had a nice visit. Was really lucky Crisco was out of Bully Sticks and I have to take one to him each time. I had ordered them on line and just hoped they would come on time and they did.
Lana is going to Rochester for Christmas so she will not be able to check on Dad everyday. But the good news is the nurse comes to see him three times a week and I go down two so I think we should be able to cover his needs. Plus I talk to him every night....
