Good morning all, hope that you have had a great week. Although mine seemed quite busy I really didn't do anything much. Little bit here and there. Nothing too much to say this week just rambling, maybe I should change the title to that
Last Saturday, Dad, Joyce & Jeff and I had dinner at Longhorn. Dad had such good luck there with steak I just knew it would be the same but guess what? I am sure you know what is coming both Dad's & Jeff's were tough. I guess you can't have a great steak all the time but both Joyce and I enjoyed ours.
This Sunday will be a sad day for Dad, Joyce & Jeff are starting on there trek home...It is so nice for him to have someone in the house, doing little things that need to be done as well as keeping him company. It is always a let down when one of my sisters leave.
I tell you that Jeff is a life savor! I had never noticed it but the top cupboard at Dad's was coming off the wall. So, Joyce took everything out of it and Jeff did the repair job! If it had fallen it would have really caused some damage.
On Tuesday I had lunch with Karen and again we tried to solve the world problems but no one listens to us. Karen is looking for a new car and having a hard time finding just the right one. She said if you look in Consumers Report you wouldn't buy anything. Maybe we should all have golf carts...
Talking of golf carts Todd had a great time on mine on Thanksgiving Day. We all got a big kick out of him, reminded me when he was little. One time he came back with moss hanging all over it...must have taking him a while to place it just so on the cart.
Diana is having a garage sale this weekend and I don't think she picked the best weekend to have it. Yesterday it rained just about all day don't imagine and she took in a whole total of two dollars. Today is another day but right now it doesn't look to promising. Speaking of Diana she is going to see Blake Sheldon next weekend. (No I didn't know who he was either) but he is in country music, the thing she is excited about is she was chosen to meet and greet him. Good for her!
Stacey is now living back at home, in January she will return to college for her engineering degree. She has a degree in Criminal Justice but couldn't find work in that field.

Dad loves those pdf files that people send with music, he must have close to 60 of them, pictures from all over the world...here he is doing his easy listening

Then after all the hard work is done.....
Today Joyce and I are off to get beautified (Joyce doesn't need it) at the La Bella Spa. Mine is complements of sister Judy. Love to go but it certainly isn't cheap!
Next week I have a full week of running to do. Seems I have an appointment every morning at 8 or close to it except Friday. So I should be busy and maybe it will keep me out of trouble I am so excited that every one at Baxley got picked for a gift at Christmas. That is always a first hand blessing every year!
Well you take good care of you and have a great week!
Lots of Love
