Happy Thanksgiving everyone, hope you didn't eat too much and had a wonderful day. Got to say I really didn't do anything to exciting this week but cook so I don't have 2 much news.
Dad and I ate at Applebee's last Saturday and they have toned down the music so you can concentrate on the person you are with. But it was still loud to me although Dad didn't hear it. He really enjoyed his steak there also.
Joyce & Jeff arrived on Monday, and Dad was very pleased to see them. He had a few things he wanted Jeff to do...like fix the toilets, (needed new flappers) needed a new switch in the garage he had a list. Poor Jeff didn't know he was coming here to work but he sure made Dad happy.
Shari had tried to hook up my new router but my computer wasn't having it, she worked a couple of hours with the people at Linskey getting it hooked up for me so I could use my Skypes. Great job Shari and thanks so much. Then Pat come over on Thanksgiving and worked a couple of more hours...don't know what he did but it works better Thanks Pat!
As I have told you many times my Dad's dog is Cisco and is 14 years old. Joyce & Jeff dog is Chelsey and is 9 she is also here on vacation. Dad was a little concern about it but as you can see in the picture they are getting along just fine.

On Tuesday I made 8 double loaves of bread, and two large pans of banana nut bread as well a three large pans of cinnamon rolls. On Wednesday I made 5 pumpkin pies, 1 apple, 1 cherry and 4 chocolate, not to mention I spent time in the grocery store both days Not bad for this old lady!
On Thanksgiving Day David & Pat arrived about 6:45 to get the 26 lb turkey on. That Dave is a worker let me tell you and he certainly took a load off me on that day. We all finally got to meet Stacey's Paul and he seems like a very nice guy...but you really can't get to know someone until you really get to talk to him. All and all it was a wonderful day and a good time was had by all.
On Friday Bet & I went to work at the Press site at 7 am to get ready for the landing of Atlantis...everything went perfect, the sky was clear ( a little cool) and a perfect landing...if you didn't see it you can catch it here

Did you go Black Friday shopping? If so how did you do? I know Diana did she had her list and coupons all ready. Don't know what big savings she got this year but every year she gets at least one.
Well I guess I had better get moving this morning got lots to do. Please remember to take good care of you and have a great week.
Lots of Love
