September 5, 2009

Hope that you have had a great week and all is fine with you and yours.  This being a long weekend I am sure you are looking forward to an extra day off.

Cisco for a while was not interested in the bully sticks but he is back wanting them again.  I just ordered 50 of them for him and they are not cheap but it certainly will be worth it , watching him chew them.  You should see him, you would think he was in heaven.

Dad started meals on wheels on Thursday, and to my surprise he said it was good.  The first meal was chicken and he doesn't care for chicken.

What a week this has been, got my power saw out and did some pruning, pulled some weeds which made it a good week.  My friend Bet gave me some beautiful Cosmo's and they have really filled my flower bed.  Now they are reproducing and I have a lot more there than I need so next week I will be trying to transfer them.  With all this rain we are getting I don't get much done.

Time for me to whine a little bit, every time we get a storm I have a heck of a time getting my computer back up.  Even when I have my computer off during the storm it is  quite a chore to get it running again.  I believe yesterday I turned it off and unplugged everything at least ten times.  This time I still cannot get my desk top back up.  Although I love having this laptop, I still prefer my desktop and now it won't connect at all.  Thankfully it doesn't seem to bother my laptop for some reason.

Got some great pictures from David Todd this week, here is one of him and cousin Paul.

In case you don't know David is the one wearing the Hawaii shirt
He also sent me this wonderful picture of a butterfly on I believe it is a cosmo....I love flowers just can't tell you what they are unless they are roses.

Isn't that beautiful...I keep meaning to go out and take pictures like that and all I do is think about it.

Wanted to correct what I said last week about Dan.  He  had his check up for Myloma not Melanoma and they found some lesions.  The Dr. said there was conflicting reports from the Pet & MRI and now he has to have a  Cat Scan.  I knew better but I guess I was just to tired last week to be putting out anything.  But the thoughts and prayers are appreciated and God knew what I meant!   Please remember him and his family in your prayers.

I guess New England schools started this week, at least it did for Jacob.  He is Joyce & Jeff grandson and I just happen to have a picture of his first day in the 4th grade.

Handsome by isn't he....could say he looks just like his Dad but....

Yesterday I went to get my hair done which should have been a great experience but when I left I was depressed.  One of the gals that work with Nancy has two girls still in High School and she didn't make enough this month to pay her rent.  Nancy wasn't too happy either she had lots of cancellations and the ones she did have hadn't been in for months and wanted their hair cut short.  Sad, so sad something has got to happen for these people.

Special anniversary today, Joyce & Jeff are celebrating their 45th, they are off this weekend to daughter Liz & Riks to celebrate Rik's birthday sure hope the celebrate that wonderful anniversary!   Also this week Sue will celebrate her birthday on the 8th.  A very Happy Birthday to you Sue!

Got a note from cousin Gloria, it seems she and her husband has moved to Maine, well just barely in Maine  Her husband is now the Pastor at the Cape Neddick Baptist Church.  In case you don't know where Cape Neddick is located it is close to York.  Congratulation on your new church Donald I know you and Gloria will make a difference there!

Diana and I went to see Julie & Julia, it wasn't a bad movie but I didn't like the ending.  She and I have been doing the movie thing at least once a month. I really enjoy it and besides that we get to spend sometime together.

One more picture, I guess this picture says you never know who is watching you.

Take good care of you and yours, and let me hear from you.  Have a great week!

Lots of Love,
a (aa) ~g~
